The Incredible Oozaru (Techniques/closed)

Raditz, Son of Bardock: warrior, mercenary. Searching for a way to tap into the hidden strengths that all Saiyans have. When an overdose of Blutz Waves alters his body chemistry with a Powerball, he becomes a frightening Oozaru. And so when Raditz grows angry or outraged, a startling metamorphosis occurs. Violent, destructive, and mindless. The creature is driven by rage and cannot be contained. On Earth, Raditz is believed to be dead, and he must let them think that he is dead, until he can find a way to control the raging spirit that dwells within him. And thus one day exact his revenge on the Z-Fighters and Goku...

Now standing once more alone in the embrace of the Training Chamber, Raditz pondered what would become of him. Unlike the times before of fighting Saibamen here or learning how to master his tail, Raditz was now even further in over his head. For days he had sought the answer to his problems; looking for a way to control his alternate self. The Oozaru - the Great Ape. The last time he attempted such a startling transformation, he blacked out into his own rage to destroy 25 Saibamen. To kill, or to be killed. Yet hope was not lost, as Raditz had ample time to practice more and more. After all, he had recently learned the ever useful Power Ball technique.

While giving a low sigh to himself and stretching out his arms - Raditz remembered to that manual he had been studying from recently. The Elites had been gracious enough to let him take a whack at such powerful techniques; though they had considered their hotheaded or too low-class to be able to learn such techniques. Raditz took this as a challenge only to prove them wrong, and to become more powerful than anyone could ever imagine. "Is the beast another side of me? Or is it one in the same?" Raditz asked of himself rhetorically. He was paraphrasing from his recent studies, no doubt.

Pulling on his own tail to test himself for signs of weakness, Raditz felt assured when he did not feel the least bit paralyzed. Mastery of oneself was crucial to his experiments, as he desperately sought a way to master his Oozaru form. The manual he read spoke in riddles, as if it were written by the same people who made fortune cookies. Therefore self-discovery was most of the battle. "Okay..... My ki energy seems perfectly aligned at least." Raditz noted.

Meanwhile in the control room outside the Training Chamber, a group of scientists observed Raditz through the protective window which separated the windows. Thankfully it was sturdy enough to protect them from harm, should the Oozaru ever get out of control. Nevertheless other precautions had to be made, as the scientists were monitoring Raditz upon his request. They were dressed in white labcoats, and not your typical Saiyan armor. The group was there to mark Raditz's progress and coach him through his eventual transformation. It wasn't every day that they got to analyze with someone with such a high power level. "Raditz, we're ready to go when you are," said their leader through an intercom.

Nodding in agreement with that last statement, Raditz outstretched his palm and began gathering ki energy. Harnessing its form into a sphere, Raditz raised it upwards to allow the chamber's air mix with it during the charge phase. This was the Power Ball technique, the ability which would allow a Saiyan trasnform into an Oozaru without need for a Moon or Blutz Wave Generator. "There.........", Raditz said tepidly, as he tossed the Power Ball up towards the ceiling.

Upon witnessing the Power Ball reach its full form, Raditz began to feel the effects of metamorphosis begin to creep in. His pupils began dilating from the sphere's rays, until his eyes completely transformed into a crimson color. His bones and muscles began to ache as thick growths of ape hair began sprouting all over across his body. Dropping to his knees and clutching his stomach, it appeared as if Raditz was undergoing pain through the transformation. Soon after his face became more apelike, and then his size began to multiply several times fold. Rising dozens of meters into the air, Raditz's transformation was nearing completion.

Meanwhile in the control room, the scientists raced about to analyze incoming data. "Remarkable! A power level 97,500.", the lead scientist noted, as Raditz began finishing his transformation. Staring over at a screen chart showing Raditz's active brain waves and vitals, the lead scientist would make another discovery. Yet his aggression appears to be taking over.... Mindless, yet fighting it. Perhaps able to discern between targets and friendlies. Motioning to the other scientists to begin some sort of preparations, the lead scientist looked on at Raditz once more through the protective glass screen.

Roaring and throwing his arms as Great Apes do, the Oozaru transformed Raditz stomped around the training chamber. Rage was setting in, as the Oozaru picked up a small piece of training equipment, and promptly smashed it against the wall. Much like any beast, it did not appreciate being contained. Fortunately the room was sufficiently large and strong enough to contain him. Yet somehwere deep in his subconscious, Raditz was trying to quell the monster from within. And that's when the biggest surprise occurred. RADITZ SMASH!!!!!!!!!" bellowed the giant creature.

Back in the control room, the scientists watched in awe as the Oozaru began to speak. Seeing this as their window of opportunity, the lead scientist directed his colleagues to begin preparations with a holographic projector. "Amazing, its starting to identify itself as Raditz. Yet simultaneously reject his other half's full control..." the lead scientist noted to back his colleagues. Pressing a button on the intercom panel, the lead scientist communicated back to his test subject. "Get ahold of yourself Raditz, you're almost there![/color] the lead scientist said. However the Oozaru did not take to kind to such loud noises, and promptly fired a mouth blast of ki energy at an adjacent wall.

"Hurry it up!".the lead scientist said impatiently to his colleagues in the control room. Now displaying images of Raditz's father Bardock on their monitor, it appeared as if the scientists intended a more subtle approach. Relaying this imagery through the projector and past a lens hole into the training chamber, the scientists projected this imagery right in front of the Oozaru. Almost immediately the beast stopped in its rampage; now recognizing the figure of Bardock. "Its working! He's.....calming down!" the lead scientist said.

Back in the training chamber, the Oozaru appeared more friendly and docile, if not child like in a way as it reached out to the holograph of Raditz's father. There was no aggression, no hate here. Only a son's love and respect for his father. FATHER?!the Oozaru said, as Raditz began taking control of himself once more. Shaking its head, the beast looked down at its own ape-like hands. I AM RADITZ, SON OF BARDOCK! A TOP-CLASS WARRIOR!he bellowed, indicating that Raditz was now in full control. Now only time would tell, how this would play out on the battlefield.
