Rozan was lost plain and simple. He had arrived in west city sometime earlier, marveling at the site of massive buildings and its many inhabitants as he wondered the streets looking for something to do. It was this curiosity and boredom that lead him to this place, an all white room with a single door and a massive machine in the middle of the room. Now normally, the boy would never even think to approach the machine, but today was different, so he stumbled over to it and looked it over. The machine was massive, easily reaching the ceiling as it stood there imposing over him, but what drew his attention was the big red button on the center panel.
He couldn’t help himself as curiosity won over reason and his finger pushed the button in. A turning sound started up inside the machine, before a female voice buzzed from the side. “Please select amount increase.”
‘Amount increase? For what?’ He had come this far, so he figured pressing another button wouldn’t hurt, besides if he wasn’t supposed to be here there would be a sign or a lock right? So he pressed the yellow triangle button and in response he got a yellow 10x across the panel. ‘What does that mean?’ Almost as if he asked the question aloud, the machine voice crackled over from the side. “Initiating ten times earths gravity.”
Almost instantly the boy was smashed against the floor, a great weight pressing on his body. The strain was amazing, something he had never experienced before as he struggled to his feet. He could get so much stronger doing this, and faster too. ‘Best if I started off slow before I amp it up though.’ The little boy did indeed start of easy, first trying his best to walk around the room without succumbing to the heavy burden on his small frame. After a couple of laps while walking, he proceeded to run around the room, his body slowly but surely gaining the strength he needed to move.
Once his body was used to the run, he started to do multiple exercises, all focusing on increasing his resistance to the heavy burden. He did 200 pushups, to buildup the muscles in his arms and chest. His legs were strengthened from the run, but also from the six inches exercise he did, a task that nearly broke him. He practiced flying in the spacious room, but it took all he had to even get off the ground, let alone move about, yet somehow he managed. Yes when Rozan left the room, he was satisfied and very tired, but he would make sure he could reach this place again. ‘The real training is still to come.’
