"This is ridiculous." A clear statement with a scorning voice came out of Yamcha's mouth once he arrived in this city, which is still named after a certain human they supposed once have managed to defeat the threat, Cell. Such gratitude was given to him as far as to open a city dedicated just for him. The fighter was standing on the middle of the side-walk, looking up on the signs on the not too large buildings he could find himself nearby, over a half of them being praises to Master Hercule. The people around were minding their own business, ignoring the new guy that seems a little out of the picture due to his long hair and scared face. Some might even recognize him, to his fault.
Yamcha's business in Satan City was no other than getting some groceries for a better meal tomorrow (all the other ingredients he was living off kind of ran out of date, it's best not to mention the last time he ate out-of-date food). He could obviously be living off others' profits (for his profession as a bandit) but its better to adjust a rather normal lifestyle if you're ever going to attempt living like a normal human, and not like some freak in a house alone in the middle of the woods. But he just couldn't help but think how exaggerated these humans' reactions are, for only a single person with high reputation comes up and says "I did that" and then they're all willing to sacrifice their own energy for him and practically make him into a god, same thing that happened with Kid Buu.
"Better get this shit over with."

"Always fun messing with Hercule," Android 18 said to herself as she stepped out of Mr. Satan's dojo. Having just blackmailed him out of one thousand Zeni, she could happily go shopping for new clothes, spending another man's hard earned money.
As she approached the shopping center, a certain human being stood out in her optical sensors. Significantly stronger that those in the immediate surrounding, Eighteen looked toward the man with the scarred face. His information registered in her data banks: Yamcha, Male, Six Foot, Friend to the Z Fighters. This was a man whom her own husband had been proud to call a friend; recently, he hadn't much to say of Yamcha. Would he remember her though?
She began to walk by him, not stopping to speak. Either he recognized her or he didn't.

While approaching the convenience store, the bandit couldn't help but feel as if he's followed by something while on a small part of his way, suddenly having that feeling. It was a little weird though since usually he will be able to track down the following Ki signal and see if the stalkers are worth wasting his time over, but this was almost like imagining not being able to sense at all, or being followed by an object. Turning around, Yamcha was to look for a certain surprise.
"Gah!" He gasped with his eyes opened in quite the horror, seeing a young woman with a beautiful structure and casual yet well-picked clothing. That was certainly, one of the Androids, Number Eighteen - the one he met during the Z-Fighters' fights against Cell, seeing then that his short friend Krillin likes her.
It was surely a surprise for him, for he never knew her too well before that but did get to know her and Krillin marry after the fights with the oversized bug. Still, he couldn't help but fear her in a way, remembering how fearsome the Androids were in his time - and to think she and her brother were responsible for the easy death of those who nearly killed him.
"Android Eighteen! What are you doing here?"" He tried socializing, at the very least, asking her for her business there before getting the point he's outmatched which results in him taking a hike quickly.

"Please, Yamcha, don't be so formal; just call me Eighteen," the android joked, finding this chance run-in slightly humorous. The humor of the situation was probably magnified by Yamcha's scared expressions - why was he acting so shocked? She was certain that he'd received a wedding invitation from Krillin and her. If it hadn't been token enough to prove that she wasn't necessarily a being to be feared these days, then she didn't know how else to alleviate his symptomatic concern.
"Why else would I be here in the shopping center, Yamcha? It doesn't take a super computer to figure that one out." She grinned and pushed a lock of hair behind her ear, showing off her golden hoop earring. Well, as long as he was trying to be social, she'd do the same. She couldn't help but wonder why he'd be found here in Satan City; perhaps he'd taken up his nomad ways of long ago that the Dr. had noted in her biography of Yamcha. "And what are you doing here, hmm?"

Yamcha sighed in relief after the two comments, then remembering an incredibly important part about this deal called marriage that perhaps applies to this Android as well although she was apparently a machine. It would look like the small bald friend was correct, she and her brother were both humans once so including them out of the picture wouldn't be too fair.
"Oh, me? Well, same reason. I'm just getting a few things and planned to leave." His statement was clear and a little more lax than it was a few seconds ago, remembering the girl he's speaking to is married to his good friend and wouldn't just go around and destroy his house for no reason like she would have done previously. Still, he couldn't help but not feel the most comfortable around her for she was still a woman, one of the man's weaknesses.
"Sure haven't seen you and Krillin in a while. Things going fine?

The android - forever coming off as more harsh than she ever intends in these situations - started up with this response to him: "And who's fault is that? Everyone else has seen us, but no one's seen you! Don't ask if things are going fine if you don't even have the courtesy to check in every once in a while." She might have put him in the mindset of his ex, Bulma, who was known for getting smart at the mouth; Eighteen was sure that the two would exchange a great war of words if ever a catfight were to ensue.
"Now then, how are things going for you? I'm sure Krillin would like to know that I ran into you today." Somewhere, deep deep down, she hoped that Yamcha had been doing fine for himself. But on the surface she really didn't care; the question was asked for two reasons: to appear amiable and to inform Krillin later. Her husband really would enjoy hearing about how his friend had been getting along in the time he hadn't communicated with him.

It looks like 18 was upset about something, basically the human's sudden disappearance - not that he and her were in such good relations before but she was still right. It was not to best of him to just disappear from their sights one day and quit fighting, only to return to it again and use that as the excuse of not showing up for a visit once in a while. Still, Yamcha couldn't help but feel a little guilt, just what the Android was aiming at seemingly.
But his relief came in after he heard quite the positive answer, coming off in a question that he could assume from that the two are doing fine, considering she spoke of Krillin in her own response, noting the two are still married and perhaps even well. "Ummm... Not too much happened in life lately. I've returned to being a bandit again." He said, giving off his answer quite freely. It's strange though, it is almost never that he could speak so freely with Eighteen, but he had to give off some information about his current state in life and telling her he was reduced back to thievery could somehow ease up the tension of him not showing up.
Then again, the real reason he disappeared like this was mainly because of the latest events with all of the fighters downgraded and the weird appearances of other several identities form the past - such as Goku's brother or Trunks' teacher.

"Ummm... Not too much happened in life lately. I've returned to being a bandit again." Android 18 began her sequence with a smirk which then turned into a hearty giggle. She stopped ten seconds into it, looking toward Yamcha with her grin still plastered onto her face.
"Oh, you were serious, weren't you?" But, of course he was! She'd laughed out of spite. And his diction was something peculiar too; use of the word returned implied that he'd taken to this profession once before. Why hadn't Krillin, or any of the others for that matter, ever talked of this? On the other hand, she could see why they chose to leave it in the past where it belonged. "Well, Yamcha, I happen to have one-thousand Zenni burning a hole in my pocket. But I bet you couldn't steal it from me I closed my eyes and spun around three times."
Oh, and now she was teasing him? Even when she was hellbent on killing all those who opposed her, Yamcha had been able to see that Android Eighteen and her brother were always up for a good game. Life was about the fun! Did the bandit want to play?
[ooc- the 1000 Zenni is an Out-of-Character wager for the development of this thread. the events i reference in this thread are drawn from THIS earlier thread i did.]

That was just not nice of her. Simply, not nice at all to actually laugh at what he said, making fun of his current profession. But seriously, he lives in the middle of the desert alone in a den he set up when he was much younger, only for the purpose of stealing and killing if things go bad. If he were to leave this den alone and set up some life in the city like a regular person, surely someone else will come and take over the secret base - something Yamcha wouldn't like at all.
"Hey, quit it! Of course I'm serious here!" He said with a rather enraged tone, blushing a little at the Android's response to his words. That was not fair play, the thing with the tempting Zenni in her pocket that is. Obviously nobody would mention his time as a bandit, he forgot he never told anybody he was once a feared bandit, the only ones to discover the truth were in fact Goku, Bulma and Oolong. That was the kind of guy he was, living alone and doing better in a more primitive lifestyle than the regular, more accepted one.
Well, obviously he won't be able to steal it from her if she closed her eyes and spun three time - she's an Android, she has some sort of auto-balance system protecting her from confusing herself too much. Still, the challenge - even if tempting - was going to be held, the long-haired man wasn't used to stealing things from girls' pockets. "W-What? I bet I could though, if I really tried. You haven't seen me try ever, have you." If he actually manages to steal the Zenni, Krillin would be mad. Really, really mad, to hear a close friend of his engaged in a fight with his own wife.
But hey, games have rules. Suck it up.

Yamcha had a point, now didn't he? She'd never seen the human in battle before. She'd seen Gohan, Trunks, Vegeta, Krillin, Tien, Piccolo, and even Goku himself all in action before - but never the bandit. "Well then, Yamcha, I guess we should fix that," she said, sounding a little less jovial than she had when giggling. She began to float up into the sky, stopping once she was six feet up off the ground. "Follow me to just outside of the city limits. One thousand Zenni if you can beat me."
There was no doubt in her mind that she'd take her up on this offer. If he was bandit who'd made a living out of stealing money, he'd be borderline foolish not to jump at the chance to "earn" a little easy money. Easy being subjective to just well he thought he'd fair against one of Dr. Gero's prized creations.

While he never actually knew her techniques or fighting style, Yamcha guessed she had to be a real master of martial arts as to finish off all of he Z-Fighters, including the powerful Super Saiyans. He heard about her abilities from Krillin and witnessed Cell's power after absorbing her in person, thus he had the small idea of how powerful she really is. But despite his doubts over his win, money was on the line and he still wanted to get some fun. And a fighter at her level is sure to entertain him.
"1,000 Zenni if I win? Easy money. Just the way I like it." He said cockily, changing his attitude immediately as he rose up to the sky following the blond Android. The location was her choice, which was indeed bad in a way but still nice for he could adapt himself to a new environment. How much he didn't long for a fight against those powerful fighters didn't matter to him now neither did the fact he's facing a girl. For him, there was nothing in the world now except for the aerial battlefield.

The android would smirk (not like Yamcha could see her face though) as she increased her speed a little. He would follow her right out of the city via flight. They'd interrupt a few cloud masses as they traveled to a clearing just outside of the Satan City limits. Eighteen would look back at Yamcha, signaling with her eyes that she'd found a suitable place, before nosediving for the secluded area. About a half a mile's radius of clear, open pasture with soft grass to break the falls Yamcha would be taking; and then there were tall, healthy fir trees securing the perimeter. "Yeah, I think this place will do just fine," the not unattractive cybernetic being would say.
She'd pull the wad of money out of her pocket and count it up before tossing it to the ground. From there, she'd take a defensive martial arts stance, making sure that her balance was key and her movements uninhibited. Pushing a piece of hair back out of her face and tucking it behind her ear, her gold hoop earring sparkles once the sun had reflected off of it just right. "Well, Yamcha? Your one thousand Zenni's waiting for you."
She'd tell Krillin about how she'd run into his old friend, but it might be best if she left out the part where she challenged him to a battle. For some reason, he didn't like her fighting - even though she'd already proven that she can hold her own well. Apparently, Yamcha had no qualms with fighting the wife of one of his greatest friends. A bandit's life can't be intruded upon by such trivial things, after all.

The arena Eighteen picked for their small battle was not half bad. It's almost as if god himself made this open space just for those two to hold this small challenge, seeing how greatly fitting it really is. The open, wide area was perfect for their required zone in fighting considering there will be aerial assault as well, most likely. The trees around could very much be the limiters of the limiters of their zone in the ring, not crossing over the desired area - which would be more than enough considering both fighters have around a good half a mile to cover with their physique form alone - not something too hard for those two, knowing their speed abilities. "Good enough." He stated with a small chuckle, diving down and landing on both feet.
So the battle would start with the Android entering a defensive position. Honestly, attacking one of his best friends' wife isn't such a good idea but she started it after all - it's her loss, and he as a bandit can't afford to let such things get to the best of him. The Zenni on the floor was almost literally calling the fighter as he took a stance and waited for the perfect opportunity to just rush there and snatch the pile right away, but there had to be some kind of trick behind this whole 'come and get it' tactic. To begin with, why would she, Android Eighteen, give up money so easily for a lowlife bandit like him? It was still worth a try to figure out what is she planning.
And thus, thinking ahead and waiting for the breeze to end, the long-haired human immediately jumped forward towards the defensed cybernetic human with his forearm put forward, planning to clash on with her. If he can, even by a little, move her away from the pile of Zenni then this spar is his, the objective is to win and winning will be made if he can prove his speed superior if he even gives out his focus to the pile even for a moment.

A breeze swept through like a soft kiss to mother Gaea. Eighteen's hair fanned in the wind and she blinked, fixating her gaze upon Yamcha and waiting for him to strike. He could have the money, honestly, but he'd have to entertain her for it first; nothing in life came free. The breeze ended; she could feel the hairs touch the back of her neck once again; she could Yamcha coming at her.
He was coming at her straightforward with his forearm ready to smash. She watched the incoming target, waiting for him to get just a little closer. This had all been calculated beforehand, after all. A few seconds before his arm would come barreling into her mouth, she'd jump right! Evading the hit, she'd lunge forward with a balled fist aimed for Yamcha's chin. And after that punch, whether it hit or not, she'd look to engage in burst style fighting, launching off quick, successive punch and hit combos to test Yamcha's speed and hand/eye coordination.
Of course, if he somehow placed himself behind her, that little plan would be out the window.

It appears as if life won't really give him everything he wants right away, as the Android swept away from his rushing body elegantly and returned to the fight with a punch aimed at the human's chin. The battle clearly started with the human's movements, but restarted again as his target - the attractive yet unfortunately married Android - stepped in for the real first strike to make a move, nearly hitting her target though. Yamcha moved his head a little away from the incoming female and raised his hand to knock away the punch with his own fast by attacking her forearm's bottom before the attack actually manages to get a hit.
But whenever that was a successive hit or not, he was soon going to be put in-front of another test by the opposing blond as she quickly engaged into a fast and furious streak of quick attacks, declaring a burst with the human. He of course, only for planning measures, decided to go on the offensive in this one: mainly dodging and blocking her attacks and inserting only a few hits now and then to make her believe he's at least trying to find an opening, also backing down as if seeming slower than he is. Then again, if he was to back down and let her lead him forward or backward, the more they advance the more Yamcha gets enough opportunities to steal the pile of Zenni on the floor by most likely sweeping in a good enough hit or diversion and quickly escaping.
Though as things were now, finding an opening would be quite hard: he is, after all, not using entirely his full speed and more defending rather than searching for a tactical attack.
