The world was ever bustling with life, even in the barren wastelands such as this. People seemed to have been making a life here, despite their past hardships. Their hardships would become worse though... Much worse.
At a far distance, a large force of armed madmen had been forming. They were some of the Red Ribbon's children and, just like their fathers and mothers before them, craved power. First, though, they had to exact their revenge on this village and recover their base. They were frustrated and angered by the humiliating defeat they suffered at the hands of Son Goku, a mere child at the time! Those old enough to remember had been cursing the name over and over, as they observed the peaceful village in the distance.
Why had they gathered, though? Surely, they could have made a base elsewhere, right? The answer lay in the group's... monster. A creature that had, too, suffered defeat time and time again by Son Goku, his friends, and family. The monster's name? It was none other than Cell.
Most of the men gathered were staring in awe and fear at the creature that had assembled them together. Some of the old timers that amassed, that had intensely high connections while the army was together, had known what type of monster Cell had been. Cruel, calculating, and truly terrifying to behold. It was, honestly, a miracle to see the monster even amass such a force to attack this infinitely feeble village.
The creature began to speak, its blood-red eyes staring out with vicious intent. Its voice boomed out, silencing the soldiers immediately.
"Descendants of the Red! We have gathered here, today, to restore our honor! We shall take this village and establish the lost power we once had! Tell me, are you men of honor... Or will you run, to protect your feeble lives as frightful children?!"
The men looked at each other, silently whispering to each other with feelings of worry and fear. Cell turned to the men, flicking his tail to the side. They were pathetic excuses for life forms... Every single one of them! However, for the moment, they were needed... Only for the moment.
His aura flared up, send clouds of snow up in the air, as he shouted out hoarsely, "Are you men or are you children?!"
The sudden gusts of wind billowing off Cell knocked them off their feet. They rose to their feet, once getting proper footing and gave a resounding cheer of confidence, from the display of power Cell showed. The android smirked and shifted himself back towards the village. He rose a hand up and roared out, "Charge!"
Soldiers left and right began to sprint past Cell and towards the village. He remained standing where was, unfazed by the blistering cold weather. Once at least half the soldiers ran by him, he lowered his arms and dug deep into the snow. He leaned forward, not blinking once, and bolted forward. The android's alien feet crushed the snow together quickly, as he sped through the mob and passed into the houses in a speed that was simply astounding.
He passed a few commoners upon entering, causing them to shriek in fear. The soldiers closest to the group rose their guns and let loose, pelting the houses and people with loud gun fire. This brought the attention of other people upon hearing the noise. Some brought out shotguns and other weapons, as if they were expecting this assault to happen some time.
They were, however, not expecting Cell to be leading the assault. He dashed right up to a family of three and grabbed the father, taking him inside the house. The other two were horrified by the action taken. Cell quietly laughed, as the man tried to get out of his grasp. The android brought its tail in front of it and plunged its needle into the man's stomach. He quickly began to suck the man's biological material into his body.
The woman and child shrieked even more horrifically, as they watched their loved family member becoming nothing but a pile of clothes, after having all the life drained from him. They tried to run, but they were pelted with gun fire all over. No mercy was to be had. Cell walked out of the house, his hunger still lingering. He looked around, seeing men, women, and children fire at the other soldiers. They seemed to not have taken Cell's obvious presence into account yet.
Cell launched itself at the closest group of civilians that tried defending the town. It smacked one to the side and into a house, while sticking its need into the back of another person, draining the person's essence and adding it to his own. The rest of the group took note of his presence and were horrified immediately. However, because they removed their attention away from the soldiers approaching, they were shot down by the Red Ribbons.
Cell's eyes shifted around the village. Its civilians were fighting vigilantly, taking out some of the soldiers quickly. They must have been aware of the group from the start... No matter. This was actually making Cell's job easier. The android plunged its tail into the dead, absorbing them to make himself stronger.
"More... I must have more," Cell thought, as he felt his power increase ever so slightly. A group of people began to fire upon him, trying to take the beast down with their meager weapons. It grimaced from the pain of the bullets bouncing into its exoskeleton-like exterior. It held its arms up, to cover its face. If its brain were damaged, then Cell wouldn't be able to keep himself alive.
He sprinted into an alley and made his way around the flank of the group. While back there, a woman was firing at a group with a shotgun in her hand. She seemed to not have noticed him coming, so the android took advantage of it and lunged her, tail first. She dropped the weapon, the pain being excruciating. She felt herself being drained through the tail from her wound in her chest.
Her clothes dropped on the ground after her body was completely absorbed. Unfortunately, the villagers found him again and started firing at him again. Cell ran out on to a street, where the Red Ribbon soldiers were lying in wait for the other villagers to come out. Cell remained standing where he was, as the villagers started approaching and firing their guns at the monster.
A few bullets grazed him, causing the android to cringe a bit. It ran to the left, towards the soldiers. The villagers rounded the corner and were greeted by machine gun fire. The android looked around, seeing many wounded on the ground. As the android looked around, more villagers came out of hiding.
"Tch... You'd all best come out of hiding," the android shouted out, as he rose his open left hand up to his should and shoved it forward, unleashing a powerful Big Bang Crash onto one of the buildings. The red energy radiated outward and sent debris and people all over the village and outside of it.
Several of the elder soldiers looked at each other, nodding in coordination. One of them shouted out, giving the command to fall back. The soldiers started to sprint out of the village, firing upon any villagers that gave chase. Cell whirled around and fired upon the fleeing soldier with another Big Bang Crash. The explosion sent snow, blood, and people everywhere.
"There will be no retreating from here! Stand your ground or die where you stand," Cell shouted out angrily! None would come out of here, unless Cell determined it necessary. Pistol fire pelted Cell in his upper abdomen, causing some of his acidic blood to stain the already blood red snow with green. The android turned at his attacker and lunged forward, punching the person in her stomach. He then stabbed her in her spine, draining her energy and biological material out of her.
"This situation is becoming difficult... I'll have hide out for a bit," the android thought in his mind. Due to that cursed power drain the wizard did to him, he wasn't able to fight with so much ease. In fact, if Cell didn't lose his power, this whole planet would've been destroyed already!
Cell ran out of street and into another alleyway. He stabbed and absorbed three other people before making it to the outside of village. The android sprinted until he was about a 1/3 of a mile away from the camp. A forest was located ahead of him, which gave the monster an idea.
He jumped up and started to climb an evergreen, causing cascades of snow to fall as he climbed up branch to branch. When he was at a reasonable height, he balanced on a branch and held his hand out in front of him. A red orb began to form in front of his hand quickly, steadily getting large with the more energy Cell poured into it. Cell roared, as he moved the energy ball back, then forward rapidly, sending one more Big Bang Crash at the village. The ball was relatively larger than the others and seemed to be moving faster than the others.
It sunk low to the ground, causing snow to flow out behind the ball like a motor boat in water. Some of the villagers saw this flying towards them and screamed in fear. Most of the villagers were out of reach, but there were a select few who were unlucky to be caught in the large explosion.
The ball collided into a house and exploded outwards, sending its destructive force into some houses and the neighborhood inn, along with a couple of bazaar stands. The people caught in the blast were either vaporized or lost a limb. Cell couldn't tell how many were killed in it, but as far as the android could tell, this was, at the very least, a successful, in a way.
Cell wasn't the type to hide in the public's eyes. He would let this world know that he was back once more and he'd wreak havoc once more! He would murder and absorb everything in his path, whether they are obstacles or simply bystanders. None would be spared... Not a single one!
