Cooler glanced around the room. It was completely empty except for the mechanical pillar in the center of the room which was responsible for increasing the gravitational pull in the room and what kind of training was done. Walking as if he owned the place, Cooler went up to the pillar and searched for whatever gadget activated the whole thing. He was rather unimpressed with the technology these people had. His ship had machines with much simpler consuls that commanded more complex devices and the Big Gete Star did even anything Cooler commanded with just a simple thought. Had Cooler not found the dial that increased the room's gravity then he would have lost his temper and smashed the machine because it reminded him that he had lost the Big Gete Star. Only the thought to getting stronger and restoring kept Cooler from pleasing his impulse.
With a foul attitude, he turned the dial. A sudden weight seemed to fall down on his shoulders. It caught him by surprise that even though he had only twisted a tiny bit, the effect was already so large. His powers were decreased more than he feared. For the sake of his pride, Cooler twisted the knob some more, feeling his legs bend a little bit from the increasing burden. But he continued. Cooler twisted the dial until the weight was so much that he could barely lift his palm from it. It came as a great shock to him that it only went to 15 and the highest it could go was 400. Instantly, Cooler was regretting ever coming; all this place did was remind him just how bad of a predicament he was in.
Now that the gravity was set, Cooler looked around for what kind of training activities he could do. It didn't help that there were no actual labels on most of the buttons. Eventually, Cooler just picked a random button and expected to be able to topple whatever would be sent his way. The noise of mechanical gears echoed across the room as random parts of the ceiling opened. From the regions, turrets came out. They were swirling around and seemed to have no true aim. That is when the haphazard firing began.
Lasers were shot out everywhere. Even though Cooler was able to keep a good eye on most of them, his speed was much too slow to act upon it. He would sidestep to avoid a close shot from a turret close to the wall but he couldn't move back fast enough to avoid the other shot fired by one turret close to him. The exercise seemed to take hours in Cooler's mind. He lost count of how many times he was hit by a laser and the longer he kept at it, the more he was hit. It was obvious that he was tiring out and would not be able to continue on for long.
Just as he was about to completely give up and head to the pillar to deactivate everything, every turret on the ceiling stopped firing and returned back. It looked like nothing had ever happened in the room. Cooler limped to the pillar with a heavy breath. Each step burned from both the weight and the previous laser shots. Soon enough, he reach it and saw that the exercise had only last half an hour. Spitefully, Cooler twisted the knob to 1 to return the room's gravity back to normal. He took a deep breath, sat down on the cold floor, and leaned against the pillar. It was a bad day but the feeling of the lifted weight and accomplish coursed through his body, making him feel slightly better. But just slightly.
