Gohan had snuck into the Gravity Training Room whilst most decent people would be asleep. He needed to grow stronger and he needed to do it quickly. He moved to the panel, his hand moving slowly as he tried to decide how much gravity he wanted. He could remember doing 300x gravity easily before but that was in the past and Gohan was in the present. He growled, putting it to ten times for a moment. He knew that was the amount that had been on Vegeta, yet Raditz had only had a power level of around a thousand and had lived there.
Gohan was looking for a quick way to increase his power, especially since he only had until one of the people in Capsule Corporation found out that he was here. He didn't want to talk to them, not wanting to have to explain about himself or about where he had come from. It was already going to be hard enough to find and destroy the androids without complicating things needlessly. He tapped a few bottoms with his only hand before the gravity nearly slammed him to the ground. Perhaps amplifying the Earth's gravity by forty hadn't been his best idea... yet it was something that he had to do.
Gohan started with some one-handed push ups... His only kind of push ups, honestly. He had become accustomed to them, his right arm quite powerful in comparison to anyone else's arms. It had to be if he wanted to be able to fight on even terms with anyone that had two arms. He pushed himself off of the ground, starting a series of acrobatics flips before landing and beginning to punch and kick as if there was an invisible opponent flitting around. He jumped into the air, performing another round of attacks, sweat beginning to drench him.
Time kept going, as did Gohan. He kept up his rigorous activities, modeling them after the exercises that he had seen Vegeta do before he had been killed. The saiyan prince could be called many things, yet "slacker" was not among them. Gohan glanced at the window, straining to keep himself upright just a little longer. He knew that this was doing wonders for him, yet he had to leave before dawn. Very rarely was the gravity chamber left empty long after sun rise.
Gohan crept out of the chamber three hours later, feeling his muscles tremble as he moved. Had he been a weaker man, the pain of overworked muscles might have made him cry out, yet he was a hardened warrior, Gohan made no sound. He waited until he was out of the Brief's lawn before taking off into the sky, wondering where he could go now.
