Deep inside the Saiyan Training Chamber, Raditz was prepared to face his biggest challenge yet. He was alone, carefully reading through a training manual that he had recently acquired. With a furrowed brow and fierce eyes, Raditz methodically read from page to page, seeking out the guidance he sought for today's training. The musclebound Saiyan warrior wasn't one much for books, but his desire to gain revenge as of late had pushed him into new avenues of training.
As it were, today called for a new whole sort of training. This wasn't about climbing towers, chasing cats, or slaughtering Saibamen. Instead, Raditz needed to hone his warrior instincts to better "conquer" himself. During his many years spent back in Hell, Raditz often lamented and realized the mistakes he had made in life. With his resurrection giving him a second chance, the proud Son of Bardock knew that he had to rectify his most glaring weaknesses. "The strength of Saiyan Warrior, rests within his tail. Master yourself, and you master the beast.....", Raditz said while to himself reading aloud.
While Raditz continued on with his impromptu studying, a group of Elite Saiyan Warriors watched on from the control room located outside the training chamber. Through its protected glass-like window, they could see what Raditz was up to. For them it was a mix of curiosity and amusement, as the Elites held Raditz in contempt for his "low-class" birth. So thus despite Raditz's high power level, they did not believe for one second that he had the noble finesse to learn such difficult techniques. However Raditz knew something they didn't. While in Hell, Raditz learned of a story about his brother Goku overcoming the tail weakness as a boy. "Hahahah! Lets see what this little grunt can do. He's probably too dumb to figure out that manual we gave him!", said one of the skeptical Elites, as his comrades laughed with him.
Back inside the training chamber, Raditz was reading further with deep interest. Most of all he was eager to learn how to control both his tail and to achieve command of his Oozaru form. This was especially important as he had recently learned the Power Ball technique. Reading on, Raditz anticipated to learn the secrets to overcoming his weaknesses."The Art of tail-Strengthening. To eliminate paralysis, equally distribute KI throughout the body. Maintain discipline to numb out the pain until equilibrium is achieved. Recommended use for high powerlevels only.", Raditz read aloud once more, with great trepidation. Raditz then paused for a second, realizing that the manual was rather vague with the information it provided.
Minutes Later[/i]
After awhile of browsing back and forth, Raditz decided that he was more inclined to put things into practice rather than learn about the theoretical. Setting the manual down to the floor, Raditz then took position to start his training. Compared to some of the most recent training he had endured, Raditz wondered how hard this practice could actually be. The eldest Son of Bardock grabbed his own tail and braced himself for the pain. Initially he was paralyzed from head to toe and a cringing tingle shot up his spine. Fortunately the torture was soon over as the mighty jolt forced him to let go of his tail."Equalize my power eh?" the frustrated Raditz yelled.
Meanwhile the voyeuristic Elites continued mocking him from the other room, Raditz struggled with this arduous task over the next five minutes. Each time he'd fail and start over again and again to grab his tail. Was it really so futile for a low-class? His hotheadedness blinded him from understanding what the manual actually meant. Near exhaustion and severely frustrated, Raditz finally had an epiphany. "No pain, no gain!", Raditz shouted with renewed confidence. Perhaps He was going about it all wrong. Rather than try to charge up KI into his limbs to break free in an aura of KI, Raditz realized he should focus more internally. Like trying to circulate KI energy throughout his body like he would with his own blood. It was more about relaxation than anything. Of course, this would take greater effort from the mind.
"SUCCESS!" shouted a rejoicing Raditz as he grabbed his tail in one last desperate attempt. Synching down his muscles and controlling his breathing, Raditz realized he felt little discomfort in this latest attempt. He could feel his KI flow more freely within, rather than accumulating down into his posterior and tail. To Raditz's great surprise, the technique actually worked as he found himself freely able to move his arms. Yet his bulky Saiyan legs didn't move and his body still stung in minute pain.
"Lets see those dirty Earthlings touch me now!" Raditz boldly exclaimed, feeling triumphant with his latest accomplishment. He knew that practice would make perfect, and would resume his tail grabbing. Repeated attempts over and overe eventually saw Raditz get the hang of it. Every time he practiced and improved this technique his entire body became more mobile though sometimes his tail's reaction still annoyed him now and then. In lieu Raditz had somewhat made a fool out of himself to the Elites, he was still progressing far quicker than one would expect. In fact, this made him seem even more dangerous than before. Now only one more obstacle stood in Raditz's way......
