Survive the Saibaman Training (Second Time)
Round 1
Standing inside the training chamber, Raditz rested his hands alongside his hips in a nonchalant manner. Once more he was awaiting for his Saibamen training begin. "Raditz, you know the drill." echoed an operator's voice over the intercom. Yes; and this time spare me the delays. Raditz groaned as he was ever so impatient.
The last time Raditz underwent this gauntlet in the training chamber, he was assaulted by over 45 Saibamen total. The last round then was particularly difficult, as the ever arrogant Saiyan Warrior found himself ganged up on. If it were not for his quick thinking to turn into an Oozaru back then, he could had suffered a fatal injury as the Saibamen were more than willing to self-detonate.
"Very well, Raditz. However please don't make another mess this time around", the voice replied back. Of course, a great part of Raditz's misjudgement the last time around was due to the fact that he was toying with his opponents rather than immediately destroying them outright. This of course, was the same line of thinking that got him killed during his bout versus Piccolo and Goku so many years ago. As it stood, a few Saibamen left alone were nothing, but an army of them were quite troublesome.
Suddenly the training chamber's flashing lights began to go off along with some sirens. This lasted only for the moment, as a signal to Raditz that the session was about to begin. "Round 1 Initiating" echoed a cold, robotic voice. On the opposite side of the training chamber, a large metal door began to raise itself as a gust of cryogenic mist began to pour out. "No time limit.", the same voice echoed once more.
Despite this forewarning, Raditz kept his calm attitude as he knew what was coming beforehand. Soon there would be Five Saibamen running out of that containment door. A small pittance really to the veteran warrior. Frankly they weren't worth his time, but Raditz nevertheless had to warm up. "Ah, I feel them already.". Raditz said while using his Ki-sense.
The pitter patter of the Saibamen's tiny feet could also now be heard, as they sprinted out of the doorway and into the training chamber. Raditz felt clearly not threatened, as their total combined power level was far less than his. Wishing to end things right then and there, Raditz charged a white sphere of energy into it his hand while raising it into the air. "BEGONE!he shouted s to signify his attack on them. Seconds later he launched it his meek targets, and the powerful energy blast soon thereafter disintegrated them utterly. Nothing was left of the five Saibamen, apart from some smoking ashes.
Round 2
"Well that was entertaining", Raditz said sarcastically with a muffled breath. Now crossing his arms, Raditz only felt slightly stronger from the first round . A part of him yearned to just throw himself into the next fight with reckless abandon. However after last time's mishap he knew all too better. It was better to eliminate his opponents quickly, personal satisfaction not withstanding.
"Just so you know, that was complete overkill on my part. You guys should step it up in the genetic engineering department." Raditz said sardonically to the control room operators. More than anything else, Raditz was a man of action. The only thing that kept him here was that, the total efforts of the Saibamen training would pay more substantial dividends in the long run. This was after all, how Prince Vegeta trained as a young boy.
"We'll keep that in mind Raditz. But do you think you can really handle all of them without transforming?", one of the operators said over the training chamber intercom. Looking up at the control room window adjacent to the training chamber, Raditz scoffed and waved back his right hand dismissively. "Heh, just get on with the show," Raditz replied back.
Once again, a flashing light went off inside the training chamber along with the sirens. "Round 2 Initiating" announced the familiar robotic voice. The computer systems were right on cue, as a batch of 15 more Saibamen were being prepared. Another gust of cryogenic mist began to pour out of the open Saibaman doorway. "Twenty-five minute limit.", the robotic voice echoed again.
As soon as he could ki-sense the Saibamen leaving their pods from within the container room, the ever so bored Raditz decided to not even give them the time to introduce themselves. This was because he wanted to be fresh for the final and most challenging round."ROT IN HELL, WEEKLY SPECIAL!!!!!" Raditz shouted as began firing off volley after volley of ki blasts towards his unseen opponents. Feeling each of their life forces go out like a snuffed candle, Raditz could now rest easy after 30 seconds of this brutal slaughter.
Round 3
"And now, we await for the Grand Finale!" Raditz said with greater enthusiasm than before. Swaying his long bushy hair to the side and cracking his knuckles, it appeared that Raditz was actually going to give this next round a chance. Of course he knew that this next batch of Saibamen, weren't your average weaklings. These ones weren't limited to only physical or ki attacks, as they could cling and grapple their targets. This made them dangerous, especially when they could self-detonate at any moment. Stronger, faster, and far more devious.
"Be more careful this time around Raditz. These specially bred ones can be cunning strategists," the prudent operator said over the intercom to remind Raditz. Nodding his head in agreement, Raditz clenched his fists and assumed a fighting position. However Raditz also wasn't privy to just lay and wait for another horde of these Super Saibamen jump him like in the past. Using his ki energy to fly and levitate up to the ceiling, Raditz figured the higher elevation would give him a better vantage point.
With the flashing lights and sirens going off once more, Raditz was gripped with much trepidation as the last battle began to commence. Saiyans always had an appetite for glorious battles. "Final Round Initiating" echoed the voice of the monotonous robotic announcer. Watching a gust of cryogenic mist rush out from the large open doorway, Raditz knew that 25 Saibamen would soon rush out. "Fourty-five minute limit.", the voice rang out again.
At that very instant the horde of Saibamen jumped out of their containment area and spread out in anticipation of fighting Raditz. This was a smart move on their part, as these Saibamen were more accustomed to using advanced teamwork and strategy. However with Raditz not in plain sight, they looked around momentarily confused as Raditz was hovering high above them. "COME GET SOME!"Raditz shouted as to taunt his adversaries. Firing of several well placed Ki blasts with his hands, Raditz was able to snipe away six Saibamen in short order. and injure several others
Startled but not routed, the remaining nineteen fighters raced across the training chamber to take up positions. If Raditz were on the ground instead, undoubtedly he would now be dangerous surrounded. Fortunately he wasn't, yet nevertheless the Saibamen began firing back ki blasts from their hands. Raditz's greater speed allowed allowed to dodge most with ease. A few well placed shots hit him in the torso and legs, stinging him with moderate pain. "Ugh! That all you got?!!"Raditz howled back in defiance as he blocked off a few more blasts.
Seeing that Raditz's better positioning up in the air, the Saibamen began to see their current attack strategy to be fool hearty. While the rest of their comrades regrouped as to avoid, a squad of six Saibamen jumped up into the air and flew towards Raditz in a combined assault. Outstretching his palms towards them but waiting until the last second, Raditz decided to give them a nasty surprise. "Double Sunday!" Raditz shouted as to signify his trademark attack while releasing two pink energy blasts towards his enemies. Cutting through them like a hot knife through butter, the attack was remarkably effective. Their tiny body parts and green blood went flying everywhere as each attacker was killed. After that, two more bystanding Saibamen were also hit on the ground from the attack's final explosion.
"Fourteeen in the box, and I'm ready to go. I be fast, and THEY BE SLOW!!" Raditz rhymed tauntingly after adding up is latest kills. Now only ten Saibamen remained standing. After this brief moment of thrill, Raditz suddenly looked down to notice his remaining adversaries concoct a plan. Five of the Saibamen had formed a V-shape formation, each raising their palms at Raditz. Firing their shots in unison with greater energy than before, each of the five Saibamen now attacked with a combined fully-powered Energy Wave. Their beams then merged together into an even stronger beam, similar to the Kamehameha or Galick Gun in basic function.
Meanwhile Raditz decided to meet this attack head on rather than to simply evade it. "ALLOW ME TO DEMONSTRATE A MORE EFFECTIVE ATTACK!" Raditz yelled while he charged his hand with purple and orange electricity. Forming this electricity into a gigantic, purplish-pink sphere, Raditz now showed that he was going to use one of his most powerful moves - the Shining Friday. As a far more advanced and powerful form of Saturday Crush, it was an excellent counter for the Saibamen's combined attack.
"Pay attention; because you're only going to see it once!!" the ever so confident Raditz said as he launched his super attack against his enemies. Time almost stood still in the seconds before the two ki attacks, as it remained unclear which beam was actually stronger. Each flashed brightly Yet Raditz remained self-assured, and did not budge an inch in the air. This was the decisive moment.
As the two blasts collided in mid-air, Raditz's energy sphere swiftly tore through the other attack. Cleaving the opposing energy beam into two and consuming its energy like a pink comet. Raditz's Shining Friday seemed destined to destroy all those beneath him. With a bright flash of light that blinded the training chamber, all of the remaining Saibamen were incinerated alive. The match was thus decidedly over, as Raditz triumphantly hovered over the remnants of this fallen horde.
