First Attempt:
It's not been too long since last time Yamcha took some training. His encounters with Mr. Popo were all worth it, for if he never really got up to the tower and met the black man he would have never got the strength that he holds today, therefore the thankful events for the spiritual Genie. But still, being stronger could only allow the long-haired man to find new opportunities to get some more easy money from nearby robbers in Paozu's desert, thus easily being able to deflect bullets and dodge large explosions now. He was fully prepared for a larger menace to approach him, but never did he think he will literally follow in his friend Goku's steps in his way of becoming a martial artist, as for the events that happened in Penguin Village like that.
Apparently, the village has been attacked by some Red Ribbon followers as the locals say, after meeting Yamcha and begging for his help after he stated his introduction: "My name is Yamcha, a desert bandit and from now on I claim this village under my control! Anybody wishing to keep their belongings will bring me at least 5,000 Zenni or 1 valuable Capsule!!" With not really the best intentions coming to the village, the man was answered by a lady requesting his help. He, of course, couldn't move too well in the approach of the lady but soon came to his senses and fully understood the situation. He was assigned to help protect the village from goons that already received and seized control over it, not too much to his surprise but more to his anger. Nobody steals the territory from a desert bandit so easily.
According to his information, the attackers are followers of the Red Ribbon Army Goku defeated when he was younger. They come to this village every time at the exact same time, 3 PM, raiding the village with their soldiers and experienced fighters. With not too much choice left, the warrior decided to step up for the village and help them instead of stealing from them, for as things go now he can't steal anything if it's already stolen - and relocated. And so, they arrived at exactly the predicted time, to see a single man with long hair flowing in the wind, arms crossed over his chest as he proudly smiles to them. With their car approaching to run over him, though, he quickly took action as the warrior kicked the car away, unbelievably blowing it backwards to where it came from - with all the equipment still inside of it and the people taking a ride on it as well.
"My name is Yamcha!! I am a desert bandit and from now on, Penguin Village is my official territory!! If you guys are two stupid to understand, I won't hesitate to engage at you at full strength! So come at me at your own risk."
He declared and entered a stance, much to the soldiers' fear after seeing what he did with the car there. But they drove their anger at him anyway, ignoring his latest action and paying for it a double price alright. Perhaps they feared of something while approaching him, afraid so much as to get him encountered and actually lunging at him? Yamcha didn't care, all he had to do was constantly drive off the soldiers and small fry until the big boss arrives, something he easily managed to complete and soon enough the leader arrived alright. Though his timing was a little off, for the fighter was already getting bored with fighting all of those weaker goons, knocking them out easily with a single hit each or pushing one against the others (carefully trying not to kill them of course).
The leader arrived in a battle suit, a mechanical armor, a large machine, robot-looking battle suit with the large emblem of the Red Ribbon embedded on it. He had a single glass window to allow him to see, of which the man managed to take a peek through to see the actual guy challenging.
"You're claiming this place is yours!? Bunch of nonsense!! We'll show you the real judgement of the Red Ribbon Army, punk!!"
He shouted (and it came out in a rather mechanical voice through the speaker), right before sending in a punch from the giant robot at the man. The target though, that is being the savior of the village, did not move and awaited the punch to reach him, and to the eyes of every soldier and citizen around he successfully caught hold of the punch easily with his left palm, blocking it. Then, it apparently opened to reveal a missile which took the man's guard down, exploding directly after making contact. The remains of the warrior were not seen, as the crater created by the impact of the explosion showed nothing that could remind of the man's body. But he was not done, actually, just making a fool out of the leader as to order his troops to seize the village's tools while the threat disappeared - only to not complete his sentence by a sudden kick delivered to the glass, breaking it easily.
"You guys are a bunch of idiots, that's all. If you think I'll lose to a machine so easily, you've got it wrong. I know how hard that glass really was, so leave now or get real punishment delivered."
With a single threat and a piercing stare, Yamcha easily drove off the goons of the Red Ribbon Army, forcing their leader to shout out the retreat command thus sending all of the invaders away from the place. Penguin Village was saved, only to be robbed mercilessly later on. Yamcha was, hero or not, still a desert bandit but the robbery didn't go as expected, for he was gladly given the goods of the village, feeling kind of guilty for taking all of it after doing that hard work for them and hearing their real story. Hard-hearted, the long-haired man agreed to a very small amount to be taken with him as he left the village with his car.
"Oh man... This hero deal really isn't good for the rep! I've got to shape up if I wanna actually earn some money... Hope Puar won't think ill of me hearing this."
He told himself as he drove back to his den. Perhaps an easy mission, but also very successful.
