Those were rather exhausting days at Capsule Corp for someone like Yamcha who focuses mainly on brawn and not necessarily his brain, even if he did learn to use it in fights due to experiences. The story begins at a certain day, stopping at Capsule Corp to buy several capsules for his great capsule collection, including different kinds of vehicles he very much liked. The main problem with getting to that place was obviously, meeting Bulma, his Ex-Girlfriend which will obviously be extremely 'pissed' at the mere sight of the fighter, thus sneaking in with all the speed he possesses is important and even required to not get caught. When arriving there, he saw Dr. Briefs sitting there with the cat on his shoulder like always, not doing anything in particular except for his daily, regular smoking. Thinking it to be strange, the warrior decided to check out on the professor.
"Doctor Briefs, is everything alright? You seem a little off today." He said, even if as tactless as could be, but it was the truth. The doctor didn't look determined to work on anything, he just smoked calmly to the thin air with the black cat placed on his shoulder like always. He was just the type of guy to kick back and work on his own tempo, even if the deadline is tomorrow and the project is enormous. It's simply amazing, how his mind is way clearer than Yamcha's - the latter can even use and sense Ki by now. "I'll admit, it's not been the best of my days lately. You see young man, I haven't came up with too much ideas lately." Hearing so, Yamcha already grasped the situation and decided to help out, volunteering to help his friend.
"Alright then! What if I get to make a good enough project for you then?" He said with a proud and determined tone, prepared to fully put his mind into studying about the mechanics of vehicles and such - for it is his favorite - for the sake of old Briefs here. Perhaps then Bulma won't hate him so much. "Oh, Yamcha! How have you been young boy? We haven't seen you in a rather long while, huh?" So he was a little slow, so what. At least the doctor managed to understand who is he speaking with, although a little late, something which caused the long-haired bandit to stumble and fall on the back of his head. But nevertheless, the man was given the job of coming up with a brand new project for Capsule Corporation, good enough for the company to establish; For with an idealess man like Briefs as he is now they can't really make too much progress, huh.
Soon, Yamcha began studying all there was to know about vehicles, be it engineering or the structure of the engine, perhaps even where to get the required metal and where to get it, slacking off in that time and preferring to put his mind into work. Of course, building the vehicle he's going to invent will be more than enough practice for him if he makes it good enough, but getting a good workout out of something as simple as that isn't going to be too easy, huh. And so, he studied further on the subject, daily and nightly hitting the books he was given and learning more and more about how the cars move and how the hovercrafts work even above water and above the skies. And from reading all that, he finally came up with a start-up.
"Okay. Capsule Corp pretty much has everything invented, even transported houses into capsules. So what if I make them a brand new car or something? That ought'a knock 'em out!"
He said gladly as he came up with a new type of vehicle, a single motorbike that's actually single wheeled, in the shape of a circle but can easily drive. Due to the person inside, the weight has to be concentrated in the edges of the vehicle and handles should be made, as well as gas release from the back of the bike (at least two of those) and one enormous tire as the actual wheel, engulfing the entire motorcycle. Obviously, this will have a rather weird design, as for why it has to go faster than any other Capsule Corp made transportation (road) vehicle was made, reaching speeds that are actually meant for racing. Such a bike would be hardly sold due to its rather off design, but it can be great for races for its agility and dexterity, as well as intensive speed. And with his current knowledge over how those things work, it will obviously not be too much of a problem to create it.
The structure was pretty easily made: two handles inside the bike and so is a seat inside this giant wheel. A double edge to keep in-balance and more eight put to the front, also two pedals - gas and breaks obviously, placed on the two edges of the thing and a motor handle placed right next to the right pedal, the gas pedal. Due to that, the breaking pedal has to be made of a more hefty material, heavier than the rest of the bike. Also, from behind - two gas release open tubes are placed, connected to the white designed bike and a giant tire placed across the entire bike for actual transportation - moving through the holes made for it on each edge, those of which are connected to the rest of the bike right above the tire and through a pretty hefty area. The design was done and the engineering was going to be progressed later, but before Yamcha could continue further on the structure of the bike, Dr. Briefs came in.
"My my, quite the original invention you've got there! Never knew you had that much potential! You could work here as a regular if you'd want to, young man!" Old Briefs was definitely proud to see how the structure was made according to the blueprints of the already in-progress-of-being-built weird motorcycle. A little flattered, Yamcha gladly put up a dependable smile and replied. "Well, of course! Thought of something you'd never really think of, an actual tire made for driving! Think I could get a few test runs on this thing when it's done?" To be completely honest, the long-haired fighter almost detested the design for it looking a little silly and not suited for his 4-wheeler style, but he had to show a little commitment for the job or he won't get paid correctly. Also, the speed was going to be indeed, not half bad at all.
And not surprisingly, after a few test runs and building prototypes of the vehicle, a single one was sent as a gift for Yamcha's Den once the project was complete. So now he had one more of those vehicles in his stash and quite the large amount of money, to boot.
