Reward: +500 to Power Level +10 Speed +10 Endurance +5 Strength.
Goten touched down on the surface of the Lookout. After the thing with Korin, his sources (meaning the rest of the Z-Fighters) pointed him to Mr. Popo at a place which Goten was quite familiar with. So, he came here almost immediately. He looked around for a moment before seeing his old friend tending one of the plant patches.
Goten jogged over, and the sound of his footsteps alerted Popo to his presence. "Hey, Mr. Popo!" he said. Popo nodded politely. "Hello, Goten. You've grown since Mr. Popo has last seen you," he noted. Goten nodded. "Well, any growing from this point will only be my muscles. Anyway, I was told to come find you for some good training," Goten said. Popo asked who had told him, and Goten told him. "Ah, that Goku. Such a strong person, he. But yes, Mr. Popo can help train you. To do so, you must hit me."
Goten almost objected to the easiness with a laugh, but remembered when he and Trunks had tried to spar with him in their Super Saiyan forms.. and nearly failed. So he knew this should be serious. "Are you ready?" Goten asked, jumping back a few yards. Popo simply nodded and set down his watering can.
Goten knew to be careful, since Mr. Popo was very fast. Goten started by jumping at him and kicking, but Popo easily dodged this with a quick sidestep. Goten followed up with an elbow to the head, a punch to the stomach, a leg sweep and a roundhouse kick. Popo easily dodged all of these, and Goten fell over. Standing, he wondered what he should do. Getting an idea, he jumped back several feet. He used the Afterimage Technique taught to him by Gohan to appear six times around Popo. Only one of them, obviously, was real. He kept going, inching closer each time around.
As soon as he was less than a meter away, he started attacking the genie. He alternated punches, kicks, elbows, knees and leg sweeps, so that it wouldn't be very predictable. A few times he switched it up, in order to confuse Mr. Popo. The genie held up well at first, but soon it was as though he was getting attacked by six different opponents. Being fast, he held up well. However, Goten tried a last-minute attack: he stopped abruptly, when Mr. Popo's back was to him. To reach victory, he merely palm-thrusted Mr. Popo's back, which pushed him a few feet forward.
"Very good. You managed to hit Mr. Popo, and without brute speed but with strategy. Mr. Popo congratulates you. However, see Dende for more difficult training," Mr. Popo said. "Actually, I think I will. Thanks, Mr. Popo. Where is Dende now?" Goten asked while panting. Mr. Popo pointed towards the building, and Goten nodded. He jogged to the building for the next part of his training here.
