It was rather weird, finding out where he was exactly. The new Saiyan Spacepod sold at Capsule Corporation took him to quite the weird place, all of the sudden finding himself surrounded by green skies and blue grass - something that's actually the opposite back at where he came from. The air around was alright, but three suns were shown above on the sky - on directly equal distance between one another. Where he landed was near the water though, and sheer luck would have it that he didn't drown along with his spacepod when landed. "Where the heck am I?" He asked himself while taking yet another look at his surroundings - only to see that several creatures were starring at him this entire time. In fact, he landed near the water of what would appear to be a residential area of the locals, and by the look of things and their "advanced" technology - a village.
At first, he thought the narrow trees and the puffy-like, blue leafy tops and the blue grass, along with the green sky and the matching green waters were just some sort of illusion thing but he was wrong. It fact, this human - named Yamcha, a bandit from Earth, arrived in the middle of one of the activities of Namek's East Village's quality time. Tough luck would have it, the only person he can remember that looks like those people would be Piccolo, and therefore he was struck in confusion the moment he took his time to look at those creatures. Have he arrived at the planet that demon king arrived from? "Ummm... Hi?" He asked, unsure what to say. The buildings were white and looked a bit sturdy, but were still a little cracked upon the sudden arrival of the human from Earth.
And then, something even more awkward happened. "You." A deep, old-sounding voice came from behind and took the bandit by surprise, soon ending up in fact being the oldest Namekian he could ever imagine: baggy clothes and wrinkled skin, yet slightly bludging arms and rather the high amount of Ki emanated from his body. "M-Me?" Asked the long-haired fighter in confusion, pointing at himself and trying to find a quick way to escape this awkward situation in which an entire village of aliens look on him as a freak, as if he's the alien. And then it became even weirder, as the old man (almost as tall as Yamcha himself) handed the human an ocarina and suddenly declared: "Play us something." This village was rather weird to comprehend, especially if you're a human who just happened to randomly travel a test run with his new spaceship without knowing the correct location.
Speechless, the long-haired bandit looked upon the ocarina for a few seconds, almost blowing into it but stopping himself from doing so before another minute passes. It was stressful indeed, the entire village starred at him as if testing him for something and him, with his criminal mind, was sure he is to be executed if he misses this. "What, you don't like music?" The old man suddenly asked in surprise, the village beginning to murmur and whisper to each other about that comment. How could someone not like music? "N-No, nothing like that! Here, I've got it!" He said and randomly blew into the ocarina, blocking a few holes while blowing. That was his melody, a scrapped from nothing piece of who knows what and if it has any future, which in fact...
... Sounded not too bad. The elder took the ocarina, played that very same melody - much to Yamcha's surprise and began laughing all of the sudden. The villagers sighed in relief while some began laughing as well (mainly the more powerful-looking people of the village). But just before the human could get in a worse condition - thinking he screwed up, "Nice one! Very nice lad!! You think you can come up with another one?"
No, wait. This was wrong. Yamcha was no musician, but after seeing their pleasure he couldn't just back down. Foolishly and without thinking too much about his words, he then replied positively but also noted, much to his luck, that a day would take him until he can come up with another good enough melody or theme for the old Namekian elder.
What is he getting himself into?

After exploring a bit and speaking with the elder and the villagers (after making sure of course they continue with their normal lifestyle and not bothered too much by the alien's sudden visit to their village), Yamcha understood that the planet he landed upon is named "Namek", and the people that resident in it are a race called "Namekians", which have the power to create the Dragon Balls. Not all have that power though, and the case of Earth's Dragon Balls are a case of which the planet suffered some crisis which led one of the Dragon Clan to take his spaceship to anywhere but that very specific planet, ending up being Namek. King Piccolo was born many years later, but that was not something he was bothered by and ended up thinking of that possibility by himself, after the chatter with the villagers and the elder.
But nevertheless, Yamcha had a mission he had to fulfill as long as he stays in this village. Although he never really liked to compose like that and found it troublesome and too much to do (the melody he created earlier being a complete fluke), what did catch his interest was the planet itself. It was new and rather hard to adjust to, but after a small while there he was sure to understand how things go. Of course, the human could always have ran away immediately and just land someplace else, but that would also be the risk of leaving the planet and never ending up in Earth again. And thus, music shall be played. But there is a major problem with this deal, as the bandit himself isn't too experienced with music and will most likely need the help of the villagers before he can make another good enough theme to impress the village elder.
Maybe he didn't want to do this, but still - he couldn't turn down the old village elder's request like that. God knows why. Thus, he began questioning many of the Namekians that used the place as a residence about music and what the elder likes, getting different answers from many, not all answers being helpful in a way. To his knowledge, the elder requested a melody from the human because the tunes of the village's composers turned out boring for the elder and his own selfish needs wouldn't be enough to fire them, thus new melodies, new interesting ones are needed to give those people some examples. This reason seemed a little harsh to the human, but what would he be doing about that other than attempting to come up with new themes for the elder's sake? Some of the villagers even appeared to be a little jealous of his immediate fluke.
And after 24 hours (some of which he spent fishing, eating and sleeping), Yamcha appeared before the elder again. "Okay, I think I've got something. But before I do this, you must know I'm not really a musician or anything. I'm a fighter from Earth, so if this goes crappy don't blame me." He declared and began blowing into the ocarina again, pressing the holes differently at times needed for the theme he composed to be played correctly. The elder, in his house, listened carefully to the theme and at the end of it finally noted his comments about the human's earlier declaration and soon after his melody. "You said your name is Yamcha, right? This one wasn't as good as yesterday, but it was still plenty to satisfy my need." The elder said with a smile and continued. "What you can't see, however, is that everybody can be a musician if they tried. Only will is what standing between being a musician and not. And in gratitude of your efforts, you are to stay here for the grand event we will be holding in two day's time!!"
It looks like this went out not too bad after all. Close call, but it works.

Challenging Steps - First Post
It's been a day since Yamcha arrived to Namek, more specifically to East Village. At first, it was rather weird to try getting along with these aliens of which the only one he knew in the past was Piccolo and Kami, both residence currently on Earth and are actually functioning as the same being, defending the Earth. In his past, the duo weren't really liked at all considering they were his enemies and even threatened to kill him (well, one of them at least), but several encounters in his life allowed him to acknowledge them a little better and get on better terms with the two Namekians. Only now he understood there was an entire race of those just waiting to be discovered by him, for he currently sides on that planet alone, with no other human or Saiyan around him. In fact, while he's not the only humanoid, he knows nothing of the planet and therefore is alone.
But nevertheless, this bandit isn't completely a loner currently. Perhaps he lost his friend Puar because of the spaceship's apparently set coordinates - the crappy test run, but now he gets to hang out at the Namekian Eastern Village, of those who loves music. The first task he bought there was rather weird, having to come off with two melodies right off the bat when he lands on this mysterious new environment without even having a complete and proper grasp of what reality threw at him. To be honest, the human wouldn't even be sure normally if he's not dreaming at this very moment, sleeping in the houses of the green humanoids and feasting along with them for there isn't much human food found on a planet of aliens. To them though, the odd-skinned, hair-consisting, scar-faced bandit is the alien here while he considers them as a bunch of mutants.
But appearance isn't always what allows people to decide (in this one's case, it is, but letting all of that aside...). These aliens were extremely nice to him ever since he managed to give them a successful melody he composed on the spot, even allowing the identity to live in their homes with them until he leaves or goes back to Earth. And with their treatment, it's not like the human can just give up on this great life of the sort. In fact, he arrived in the best time and even made the greatest mistake of telling the locals that he's in fact a fighter, coming to Namek for a test run with his spaceship and is pretty much late for Earth business, earthling stuff he has to attend to - such as his job (stealing from people). But as fate would have it, the fighter would have to stay in the village a little longer for quite the event is going to be held in one day - first off in the morning.
They called it the Challenging Steps event, where they gather the best of fighters from their village and simply watch them wrestle, brawl or set off against each other, sort of like in a tournament of some sort - so the human could understand from its description. To their steps were playing the Namekian musicians, to lighten up the time for the fighters as they get beat up by each other. It's lucky to have no gender, you can't know if things are done in a manly way or feminine, so any kind of fighting is allowed and what's more, any kind of move is applicable: even blows under the belt - to which Yamcha has to look out for, very carefully. And as luck would have it, for he's a fighter (a skilled one) and the Namekian fighters would prefer it if he participates and shows them the power of the earthling bandit called 'Yamcha', he committed himself into this duty and decided to face off against the fighters anyway.
"Okay big guy, you ready?" Asked one of the locals that allowed the human bandit to stay at his house, referring to his slightly large body structure - muscular yet still having a pretty face. The human was taking his time in resting a little before the start of this big event, knowing it would start tomorrow but having no real grasp of when 'tomorrow' is really going to come: this planet had 3 suns, after all, so there was no telling when exactly will a day pass off, but it is possible to assume it will come when the villagers go off to their homes and sleep. If they do that of course, to which they answered positively when he asked. "Yeah, not too much stress. It doesn't sound like too much of a problem, I can handle your men." He replied proudly to the green alien's comment, cocky as he regularly is and still not doing much at all to improve himself correct: just sitting there and waiting for the day to pass. Brainstorming and clearing your mind before a fight is important too.
The Namekian person he was staying at was called Lyder, a fighter-class Namek with a taller figure than Yamcha's and a deeper tone, also looking a little more experienced and lax than the human. Then again, the identity from Earth was a bandit and a practitioner of the Turtle School for Martial Arts, still maintaining his cocky attitude even today even though he's a skilled fighter as he is now. At the human's reply, Lyder simply chuckled and left back outside to leave the alien alone, giving him some space and time on his own before the event starts. Obviously, he has to be a little more collected if he doesn't want to get kicked out from the event tomorrow on the spot, not even sure entirely on how this whole fighting thing is going to go. "Guess I'll rest for now... I wonder how Puar's doing." He spoke to himself right before laying on the floor and closing his eyes, falling asleep.
The next day, the event was going to start.

Challenging Steps - Second Post
The day of the big event finally came up and the human was more than prepared to participate in battle against East Village's younger warriors. The whole event revolved around fighting each other in the sound of music, which in the end seemed to look more and more like some sort of movie thing he knows back from Earth, which helped the bandit adapt very quickly to their rules. Actually, nobody really expected him to know it this well, for it was almost completely based off a movie of some sort. It was almost as if he was filmed, only no cameras were around nor would any be found in this village for their peaceful, simple lifestyle only having music being developed to the degree of being at the level of higher technology quality, thus no way they would be filming this. Nevertheless, it was time to start the big event Yamcha waited to for two days now.
Once he went out after waking up, what surprised him was not the fact the light didn't change at all outside nor was it the prepared ring clearly telling its lines on the ground and it was also not the number of fighters currently waiting the event to start. What surprised him was in fact the large amount of crowd that was found once he went outside, surprisingly being way larger in quantity than it was yesterday or the day before. Maybe some other Namekians from other villages came up to watch this event? Yeah, that would most likely be the deal here, there's no way to explain the sudden increase in adult, child and geezer categorized aliens in the area. "Welcome Namekians from all villages! it is time to start Challenging Steps the 78th!! You all know the rules: no shirts or shoes, and if it's your first time you will fight. You will all go all out as we give you a better time with our rhythms. Most of all..."
The one talking was the elder of East Village and he gave out quite the speech before the events started, to which Yamcha adjusted himself by simply taking off his shirt and shoes to match the rules. The elder also noted no Kyodaika, which means these Namekians probably have some sort of special power that increases their strength, speed or simply fighting abilities - something the human would have to watch out for. At the end, a powerful drum hit was heard as the elder jumped out of the wide ring. "The best of luck to all young fighters! Challenging Steps the 78th, begin!!" And with that, the bandit found himself suddenly pushed by some hand right into the ring, where Namekians of all sorts simply jumped into the ring and began fighting with each other: elbows, punches, kicks, headbutts, this was an everything-goes all-out all-on-all match, no holds bared.
Just how the human likes it.
The fight just began and the human already took quite the heavy hit to his face by a random Namekian fist which probably stretched out, to which he responded with beginning to sense his enemies one by one with their Ki signature, beginning to counterattack against each and every one of the hits sent to his direction, afraid of making unnecessary injuries or even deaths by going all out. But seeing how they're all having so much fun in watching their fighters fight each other, the bandit decided to go all-out as well. Besides, the lost fighters can just go back to the ring once they're all out, to which after this thought he immediately responded with a swift kick towards one of the fighters' torso, sending him flying out of the ring, taking a hit to the back of his head and also a direct stomp to his stomach - while still standing. He caught the leg of the one who kicked him and simply threw him out, getting hit once again. This was going to take a little while before he knocks everybody out.
The battle continued on and Yamcha could already feel himself getting a little exhausted out of simply fighting all of those Namekian Martial Arts users, each and every one of them having a unique way of moving yet the same style of arts, the same one he encountered when fighting Tambourine back on Earth, on the earlier start of his days as a martial artist. They were powerful fighters, enough to wear the human out enough for him to just step out of the ring at some point and raise his hand, saying he's done. The musicians kept on swapping different themes when playing loudly, to the crowd's enjoyment. It was rather fun actually, but all of those hits he took were indeed quite hard to endure, thus the human would take a little rest from fighting. But it won't come on so easily, simply because the Namekian fighters are all still there - wrestling and showing off their skills all the time.
Quite the barbaric event for such a peaceful kind.
Just then, a familiar face showed up and patted on the bandit's sweaty shoulder. "Giving up already?" He asked with a slight chuckle. It's been almost an entire hour for those guys fighting each other, going at it for so long. The long-haired alien could simply answer without too much posing, just because he himself was having rather the good time sparring with those guys. "Nothing like that. Just gimmie a break, you guys never rest! I can't do that." He declared as he sat down to watch the fighters going at it all at the same time, jumping in at random times to fight. Lyder simply chuckled and replied, "Alright, alright... See you there then." He said and returned to the ring, as soon as he jumped in the Namek got knocked out by a random punch of another warrior.
The human took a short rest of almost 5 minutes before returning to the ring, participating further in the fights until the entire three hours of the event came to their end and the ring was finally closed. In all this time he fought against the warriors, not once did he find someone challenging enough to take his full force on, thus not resorting to his signature attacks or Ki attacks at all, not even using Ki in his fists: he fought with raw force, be it quick attacks or just wrestling moves. Nevertheless, he was bruised after this fight, injured to the point of actually receiving medical care from the Namekian residents. But it would look like the elder was quite satisfied with how the human rolled in in their small celebration, even if it was a little barbaric. "Nice job in the fights today, Yamcha. Where did you learn to fight like this?" The elder asked, speaking with the human further after the brawls.
It looks like it's not going to be hard for a bandit like him to fit in with their environment.
