Gohan wasn't quite quick enough to land either of his attacks as planned, Yamcha jerking his foot away and bringing his head down to protect his nose. Quick thinking on the part of the bandit, especially for someone that was so rash oftentimes. He grunted when he felt the pain in his forehead, slightly dazed by the pain yet not enough to interrupt the fight. He had to figure out a way to defeat this warrior. Gohan had been confident that he was stronger, yet the bandit seemed to have worked more physically than he had upon raising his power level. The half saiyan was confident that his knee would connect, since it seemed that Yamcha wasn't taking any measures to avoid it yet he didn't feel any collision between the two of them.
That's when the afterimage faded away, meaning that his actual opponent was somewhere getting ready to come back in with an attack. He used his ability to sense ki to gain a lock upon the bandit, closing in quickly from behind him. Gohan took the elbow to the back, using the small boost in momentum to roll forward and put distance between himself and Yamcha. This was going to be a difficult fight at the least. He got into a ready position again, throwing three quick blows with his right hand and then a powerful kick that would hit the bandit in the ribs if it managed to land.

It looks like Yamcha was getting somehow an advantage over his opponent in terms of physical combat although both were nearly evenly matched when it came to their stats. Strength, speed and endurance didn't seem to reflect too much of a difference for both warriors in this close range although both had the capability of moving so fast the naked eye wouldn't be able to track them. And soon the tables would turn a little for the bandit again, thinking of a rather good trick to use against his target - only needing a good enough opening to use it though. After all, the future's Gohan seems to be quite the powerful fighter and perhaps was Trunks' teacher, something that would explain the lad's vast power and immense talent.
The three quick blows were coming at Yamcha head on after catching small distance from him. He did however, predict that consecutive usage of this arm will not be a good idea therefore a foot will be set out for an attack as well - and that he has to attempt to block at the very least. The blows were taken quickly to his chest, feeling the pain only after they were taken and not being focused enough to block the kick, taking it straight on. There was a back-up plan, and while holding his stomach with one hand he shot a single Ki blast at his enemy just to create a diversion to allow himself some time to think through.

Gohan had finally managed to actually hit his enemy with a couple of good hits. These two fighters that were among the greatest that Earth had to offer at the moment had abilities that the general populace wouldn't be able to comprehend. Yamcha fought in a similar manner to his father and Master Roshi, one of whom he was currently training under, although the bandit took the turtle style and made it his own. Gohan had also trained under Piccolo, another powerful combatant on Earth whom had trained simply to counter Goku and company's style of fighting for some time. The young warrior knew that he just had to simply remember the Namekian's training and it would become much simpler, yet that had been so long ago...
Gohan hadn't been expecting the blast of ki, feeling the ball of energy plow into him and send him tumbling back. He cough a little, his orange gi singed on the front where it had hit him. He shook his head, hopping up to his feet, expecting an attack from Yamcha. The half saiyan was in luck though, his opponent wasn't attacking him yet, apparently recovering from the attacks that had managed to slip through his defenses. The young warrior took a moment to steady himself and prepare another plan of attack. Gohan allowed Yamcha a small respite as well, letting the bandit initiate this round of the fight.

It looks like the Ki Blast hit its mark although it didn't really need any direct contact with the target considering its true purpose after being shot from the bandit's hand. He took a little time to recover and soon entered his stance again, looking closely at his opponent's stance and searching for a weakspot near. His steady battle position was well-made, preparing for an assault from every direction apparently, something the human fighter wouldn't really have a good time going against and while at it - the more he thinks about a direction of attack the more time it will take and thus the more time the Gohan from the future receives to think ahead of a good battle plan. Yamcha had to improvise, quickly.
The human took a quick step, disappearing into thin air due to the speed (yes, with his speed it was likely to be accomplished, and it wouldn't be a surprise if the future fighter could as well). His plan was to appear behind of Gohan and attempt to catch him off guard with a false kick, then appearing once again to his left side from the front and deliver the kick fully. That leg attack was, of course, enhanced with his Ki as to inflict more damage upon the enemy's body but the quick movement and the usage of the flight in an extreme speed would surely strain the warrior's body a little, putting some fatigue more on his account. But it would all worth it if he could get the successful hit.

Gohan had been expecting a speedy attack, although he hadn't been sure of which direction he would be coming from. Yamcha disappeared streaks being left in the air as he disappeared. The young warrior spun around, attempting to block the incoming kick yet it had only been a feint and his opponent was already attacking in another area. Perhaps the warrior from the future had underestimated this particular human. The ki enforced blow impacted his ribs, making them cry out in protest, although Gohan only allowed himself a grimace as he was sent bouncing along the ground into the distance. That had hurt, it felt as if his ribs were going to be bruised for a while. Every breath he took made him want to scream in agony, yet he didn't want to end the spar yet.
Gohan took a moment to think before he dashed with all speed at Yamcha. His feet came off of the ground as he brought a full-force punch at his opponent's face. The image flickered though, as the half saiyan appeared behind him, attempting to sweep Yamcha off of his feet. The young man attempted to kick the bandit in the ribs, he grunted in pain, obviously feeling his aching ribs as he moved. Gohan couldn't help but feel that he was being overwhelmed slowly but surely by the other fighter. The half saiyan would have to manage to land a deciding blow upon the other man if he wanted to win this spar.

Yamcha's kick was successful, which brought him to the next level in his plan. The Ki enhanced kick wasn't actually enhanced to increase the strength of it but to put sort of a land mine inside of Gohan's ribs once he takes the full course of the kick, which he did. The sweep was successful and the bandit restrained his Ki from activating right away on his opponent's body, only to be taken by surprise by a direct punch to his face and a quick sweep to his legs, making him fall and in a great position of losing the match in an instant. Although his body was quite endurable, the force of his enemy's attacks was still strong enough to break him down time and time again, as the human took the full impact of the kick to his ribs and shouted in pain as he was sent away flying.
But even if he was pummeled due to being unable to move, it was worth it for the next level on his plan initiated right away, right after allowing his enemy to come at him like that. "Nice going, but... Detonate!!" He yelled out with heavy breaths in the middle, noting the pain he took from those attacks. For a superhuman, he sure was taking quite the beating from Gohan in those three strikes. And after the keyword was announced, he stopped holding in his energy on the target's body and triggered the Dynamite Kick's effects to finally activate, exploding directly on the future fighter's ribs but obviously not breaking them. Quite the prank, holding his Ki and immobilizing himself only to ensure a hit later on.

Gohan had managed to land his hits, despite the lack of his left arm making it more difficult to land a quick succession of blows. He smashed Yamcha with quite a bit of his strength, feeling that perhaps they were taking this a bit too seriously. He could feel his ribs aching, they'd been hit He was beginning to feel a bit more confident as the spar continued. Gohan wondered if perhaps Yamcha was beginning to wear down as the spar wore on. Both had taken some painful hits, mostly to the ribs. They seemed to be a popular part to leave bruises upon. The young man began to gulp down air as he seemed to have been given a moment's respite as the bandit gathering his bearings. Every breath made it feel as if a knife was being jammed into his ribs, yet he knew they were only bruised.
Perhaps the bandit wasn't just recuperating though, he wasn't moving very much. "But what?" Gohan could only wonder what the other man's plan was when the pain in his ribs doubled. "Aaaaarrghh!" He shouted, collapsing to his knees as it became difficult to focus upon anything. His head began spinning every time that he looked up to see if Yamcha was coming yet. He wrapped his remaining arm around his ribs, woozily standing to his feet. He stumbled for a moment before he managed to steady himself. "That hurt, nice trick." He managed to say, holding his ribs tightly as he tried to think for a moment. It was difficult for Gohan to think at the moment, yet he tried to shift into his battle ready stance anyways.

Yamcha's plan was obviously successful - he made contact with the kick earlier. Such an explosion wouldn't kill the man's ribs in this occasion, but normally if the human was going seriously against the Half-Saiyan he also wouldn't have held his Ki so much and have made the contact explode on the spot without giving his target some time to rest after taking in the damage. He stood up, breathing heavily as he took a rather different stance, aiming to land in another few hits upon his opponent's body. His stance was rather different from what he demonstrated so far though: his palms were wide open and each was placed near the eye of that palm, left to left and right to right. His back was bent a little and his legs made quite the distance between one another. This was no fighting stance, he was going to use a certain technique.
The bandit smirked as in a moment, his Ki began activating again as he forced upon himself the adrenaline to return, using one of the most effective moves in his situation. "Get ready. Solar Flare!!" The human shouted as the sunlight came out of his open palms and eyes, brighting up everything on the battlefield with intense light. He of course, wouldn't be blinded by this and the enemy still has a way of blocking the Turtle School disciple's plan by sensing his Ki and attempting to dodge - but he won't let the target do so. Immediately after the attack was shot, Yamcha leaped forward towards the opposing fighter (from the future) and entered another stance while moving. This was the preparation of the Wolf Fang Fist.
"Take This!" He yelled out, beginning the burst just when he was close enough.

Gohan knew that move! Solar Flare was a technique to blind your opponent and give the opportunity to end the fight with one powerful attack. His eyes immediately snapped shut yet he knew that it wasn't going to be enough to stop the light from blinding him. Yamcha confirmed this when he shouted the name, shortly afterwards a blinding white light emanated from him, making it impossible to see anything at the moment. The injured Gohan stumbled backwards a few steps, lacking the ability to see, although he tried to replace that ability by sensing the bandit's ki. It didn't help though, he couldn't tell if the other warrior was attacking or not, he could only sense the general location of Yamcha.
Gohan's eyes fluttered, tears coming out as his body attempted to repair the temporary damage. He wasn't sure that he could fight the Z Fighter when his vision wasn't impaired, let alone when it was. He did know how to stop the other man's attack though. "Haaa!" His aura flaring up for a moment before he formed a ki shield around himself. Gohan put in quite a bit of power, hoping to hold off any attacks until he could see something beside a blinding white light with only white dots. His head turned blindly as he tried to lock on to Yamcha, although he couldn't quite decide which way would make his eyes lay upon the bandit.

The Wolf Fang Fist was stopped in its tracks by an Energy Shield, protecting Gohan from taking in too much damage from the physical burst. But still, the shield will break at one time, and as long as the bandit keeps on attacking there is nothing to fear. Except for a few burn marks on his hands of course, which caused him to cease the attack before it could be completed. The Energy Barrier was more than strong enough to knock the bandit away, and much less did he predict the enemy had such a skill in his arsenal. A surprising warrior indeed he was, the Gohan from the future.
But he didn't back down. While he had the time to prepare it, Yamcha focused quite the high amount of energy into his hand while holding his forearm with his open left one, working on another attack to be used against his enemy. This time it wouldn't be blocked by an Energy Shield so easily nor would it be stopped if the enemy would put his hands out to block it, for this was no ordinary trait attack. "Nice move there, but this isn't the end yet!" He declared as his exhaustion raised while the bandit's voice began to be heard out of his sheer attempt to gather enough Ki from around him, the form of a ball forming in his open palm soon after.

The brilliant white light began to fade from Gohan's vision after a few moments, finally allowing him to see Yamcha. He had felt the impact of his fists upon his shield, rather powerful yet he had managed to hold his shield together against the other man. "Rather unpleasant being blinded." The young warrior said as he wiped the moisture away from his eyes. He took a few steps backwards, shaking his head as if that could help his vision recover. Gohan's eyes managed to focus on the bandit after a moment, getting prepared to counter-attack. Yamcha appeared to have a different plan though, forming a ball of ki in his hand, supported by his other hand.
His opponent appeared to be preparing a powerful ki attack. Gohan let the barrier disappear. "You want to play rough, huh?" The half saiyan put his hand in front of his forehead, beginning to charge an attack of his own. His palm faced outwards, a yellow ball of ki forming in his hand. "I'll send a regular one at ya. I'm not sure you could handle a hyper one." Gohan's grin disappeared as he forced more ki into his hand, the power building to higher proportions. He didn't want to injure Yamcha too bad, if he did manage to hit him though, so he kept it from going to his peak. "It's almost ready, are you?" The young warrior asked seriously, the attack nearly prepared.

Yamcha's ball of Ki wasn't quite the attack you could deflect with another wave, neither was it going to explode upon impact with something else. It was his own unique attack, a type that won't be able to clash against other waves of Ki but surely injure someone to quite the great degree. The Spirit Ball attack it was named and was also an invention of he bandit himself - made during his 3 years of training before the 23rd Martial Arts Tournament. It proved to be very useful when he used it every time, being actually capable of injuring with this technique and not just blast others to oblivion like the Kamehameha wave would. Plus, while he was much weaker than Kami, he managed to hurt him with this move, let alone the fact during their fight a single touch didn't come from the warrior.
"Okay, you ready!?" Yamcha shouted as he swung his arm back and prepared on launching it towards his enemy, already thinking ahead of how this would go. A Hyper Masenko was blocked by the fighter from the future out of sheer honor, so the least the bandit could do is show some respect and use not the full extent of his power in this attack as well. He soon swung it forward, controlling to ball of Ki with his two fingers. "Spirit Ball Attack!!" He declared, launching the ball directly at his enemy.

Gohan had his signature move charging up while Yamcha did the same. He may not be able to counter the Spirit Ball that his opponent was charging but the ball of ki wouldn't be able to deflect his Masenko either. Apparently it was going to be a battle of whom could endure the damage of the other attack. The half saiyan's ki wave had damaged many powerful beings, the most notable being Frieza while it had also done some minor damage to the androids. The young man felt that he had enough power built up in the palm of his hand, more than enough to destroy a building or a mountainside, yet hopefully not enough to take down his opponent. Yamcha had finished charging first, a yellow ball of energy built up in his hand, obviously able to deal quite a bit of damage if it managed to connect.
"What kind of warrior would I be if I wasn't ready?" Gohan's hand strained as it attempted to maintain the energy built up in his hand while also restraining it from growing. It was quite the precarious balance, enough to incapacitate his opponent while also weak enough not to seriously injure him. "MASENKO, HA!" The half saiyan shouted, bringing his hand down to chest level before the yellow wave of energy forced him to lean back. It was aimed directly at Yamcha, as Gohan hoped to both nullify the threat of the Spirit Ball and the threat of his opponent in one swift move.

"Got you!" Declared the human as the Spirit Ball changed its direction to Gohan's Masenko, clashing against it and blocking it from advancing towards Yamcha, which just gave him enough time to sweep out of the way. The Spirit Ball's best trait as a Ki attack was the fact it was a freely moving projectile, meaning it could strike the same place several times according to the bandit's will - also meaning after moving away the ball would raise up and the wave will keep on traveling while the ball itself is moved by the long-haired fighter directly to the one from the future. Unfortunately though, the Ki gathered in Gohan's hand was powerful enough to nullify the ball a short time after it struggled with the beam and keep on for a small while, but still missing the human.
Exhausted from the sudden gathering of the Ki in his right hand, Yamcha had to think quick. Gohan would still be in a position where the Masenko is fired, which gives the human the good enough opportunity to charge an attack and quickly shoot it at the enemy from close range. He put both hands to his side and charged the blue sphere of energy, then releasing it at once at the fighter from the future. Both were Z-Fighters and therefore both knew his attack very well. "Sorry for the change of pace! Kamehameha!!" He yelled, shooting both hands forward quickly, releasing the sphere and changing it to the form of a blue beam advancing towards Gohan at quite the great speed.

Gohan was rather shocked that his blast could simply be block for a moment by the Spirit Ball. He had been nearly certain that it would just blow through it. Not only that but the bandit moved as his Masenko continued on, blasting through a few trees before it dwindled off. He was nearly certain that he had a higher power level than Yamcha... perhaps he shouldn't have held back nearly as much as he had. He took in a deep gulp of breath, wondering how that Spirit Ball had reacted. Not only had the human being controlling it but it had more strength than your average attack. It was rather disconcerting to see the thing that had been expected to end the fight for the moment shoot off into the forest the surrounded the clearing.
"One of those? I could respond in kind... or I could use a slightly different move." Gohan put two fingers to his forehead, his entire body straining as he did as Piccolo had taught him. His fingers began to crackle, almost as if with electricity. A yellow glow began to surround his fingers as he poured large amounts of ki into his finger. Perhaps this wasn't the best move to use when a large blue beam of energy was shooting directly towards you. "Speciaaaaal... Beam... CANNON!" Gohan roared, his fingers shooting two beams, one heading directly towards the center of his opponent's attack while the other one circled the first. It was made as a piercing move, originally made to kill his father but since then had been used on a number of occasions to help. The Kamehameha wave was close to him, much too close to win if Gohan's attack wasn't properly formed, yet hopefully it would simply move through the Kamehameha.
