Gohan was glad that the new Kami was someone that was familiar. He could remember Dende when they had been on Namek... and he could remember the unfortunate incidents after they had been on Earth for some time. He had never imagined that the little Namekian would grow up to be the Guardian of Earth, although he couldn't think of a better choice... except perhaps Piccolo, if only he would let go of some of his pride and mellow out slightly. Gohan would never voice that aloud though, he had too much respect for his mentor to do that. He ran his hand through his hair, looking over the dummy with a strange red and white mask on.
Gohan didn't often wear weighted clothing like this, it was going to make it more difficult for him to grow accustomed to this. He looked from Dende to Popo to the doll that was a replica of himself, right down to the missing arm. He got into a ready stance, signifying that he was prepared to fight the mimic. He dashed forward, swinging his arm at the impostor yet it was quite difficult to perform the tasks as he usually would. He performed a rapid series of punches with his one arm, attempting to end it quickly yet his doppleganger was more than up to the task.
Gohan's doll blocked all of his attacks, responding with a swift spinning kick. The young half saiyan was surprised by his own speed, which must have been enhanced by his recent training. He bounced along before managing to pop up on to his feet already going back into the fray. He began with an elbow, swiftly attempting to slip his legs in between his opponent's and knock him off balance. He rammed his shoulder into the doll, hoping to knock him to the ground. Gohan wasn't nearly quick enough though, the doll keeping his balance and using the half saiyan's momentum to toss him past.
The warrior managed to land on his feet flipping forward as he turned, shooting off a few quick blasts of ki at the blur of the clone. Funny thing was that Gohan hadn't even had to look when he was shooting... Two of them managed to find their mark which gave the young man a chance to quickly dash in and land a flurry of kicks on his opponent, with the occasional fist thrown in. He grunted as the doll returned fire, a quick kick catching him off guard before a punch to his jaw sent him bouncing away. He struggled to his feet, a slight sheen of red liquid coloring his grin.
Gohan was beginning to get weary. His training had begun early in the morning, yet now it was getting dark and this clone continued to thrash him. His arms were beginning to feel like they were lead, yet the weights didn't seem any heavier than his arms would be normally. He must have adjusted to them as he fought this doll all day. The young half saiyan threw himself bodily at the doppleganger, slamming his forehead into its chin before giving it a few swift blows to the body. He kneed it once more, lifting it into the air in an attack that would have knocked the air from most living beings. It finally faded into a nondescript doll, signalling that his training was over. The young man let out a loud sigh as he slumped to the ground, staring seriously at what had been a copy of him only moments before.

Gohan nodded, glad that he could at least bring a little bit of joy into someone's day. "Yeah... about thirty years ago if I have the year right. A man named Goku, his son, and a few other people met Frieza upon the planet Namek. The fight was devastating, yet Goku managed to emerge victorious in the end. A year later Goku killed Frieza and his father King Cold. Soon afterwards he managed to kill Frieza's brother Cooler as well. As far as I know that ended the World Trade Organization." The young half saiyan shrugged, looking upwards at the sky. He shook his head, grinning at Neylo. "I'm not exactly clear upon all of the details though."
"I was about to ask how you could be over fifty and still look so useful... I suppose I'm in my thirties now, although my body is only twenty three. I had been dead for nine years and I've just recently been revived as well. It's a very interesting feeling after having rested in the Other World for nine years." Gohan grew a perplexed look upon his face for a moment as he recalled that when Tien had lost his arm, it had regrown when he was resurrected, yet he had come back with only one. Perhaps it had something to do with his having been long gone by the time he had been revived yet Tien's had been a recent wound when he had a died. "Don't worry. I'm just as confused as you are and I've lived here for most of my life."

Gohan decided to continue following in Goku's footsteps, skipping past the intense and deadly battles that his father had when he was a young child and going directly to the training. He had taken his time making it to the Lookout, unsure of what he would find there. He remembered that Piccolo had died... and that meant Kami had as well. So they couldn't bring any of the dead Z fighters back to life. He didn't know who was alive or dead in this timeline but so far everyone that had been dead seemed perfectly fine here. Perhaps there was already a different guardian, he knew that Kami had been extremely old anyways, although Guru had seemed so much more ancient. It was all so strange.
Gohan was glad to see a familiar face at the top of the lookout... even if it was slightly creepy. Mr. Popo never seemed to change, always watering his garden. He smiled and nodded at the strange thing, he never really knew what Mr. Popo was. "Is... the Guardian around?" He asked, looking around for a moment. The genie-like man nodded, his face rather impassive as he did so. Gohan opened his mouth to ask who it was but thought better of it after a moment. Perhaps there was another Gohan running around that already knew this and he didn't want to interrupt his life by asking his friends' strange questions.
"Mr. Popo.... I want you to train me." The saiyan spoke forcefully, his eyes burning with determination. Mr. Popo let out his creepy laughter, making the young man want to shudder. "Hit me." The high-pitched reply came, although the genie didn't even look like he was prepared to dodge. Gohan made a rather straight punch, although it wasn't very hard. Mr. Popo just tilted his head, continuing his gardening as though nothing had happened. The saiyan didn't remember him being this fast... had the guardian of the guardian been holding back the entire time? He floated off of the ground, delivering a flurry of speedy kicks that only met the after image of the genie.
Gohan continued doing this for three hours, accentuating his punches with kicks before finally becoming frustrated with it. His eyes locked on to Mr. Popo, the round genie's hands hidden behind his back as he smiled that creepy, impassive smile. The saiyan had just about enough of this game. He crouched, his hand turning into a claw as he began to focus his energy into his palm. Gohan began the familiar chant, "KaaaameeeeeehaaaaameeeeHAAAAAA!" He shouted, firing the brilliant blue wave of ki at the genie. Mr. Popo stood there, opening his mouth and sucking in the entire Kamehameha wave. Gohan had never just seen something so casually dismiss his power before.
The half saiyan warrior flew back in, his flurry of blows even faster and harder than before. He began to pull out all of the stops, using afterimage in between attacks to distract the genie and allow him to get closer to hit him. He began to shoot ki blasts in directions that he assumed the genie would be in as well, yet Mr. Popo had been at this for just as long as Korin yet he was faster. Gohan decided it was time to end it, kicking at Popo from one side, then using afterimage to disappear and come flying in from behind with a swift kick to the back of the genie's head. Gohan began to breathe heavily, shaking his head. "I don't remember it being this hard."

Gohan shrugged after a moment, clamping down on the stopper with his teeth. He managed to yank it our after a moment. He nodded at Korin, once again all business. He took a deep breath, bracing himself expectantly for some wonderful rush of power as he took the first swig and began to swallow the entire jug of Sacred Water. He waited for it, wondering when it would kick in. He let out a heavy yawn, looking down at his remaining wrist as if trying to read a watch that wasn't there. He glanced to both sides, staring out at the sky as if to see if anything had suddenly changed... It hadn't. Gohan redirected his stare towards Korin, his gaze narrowing.
"Why isn-ARRGGHHHAAA!" Gohan said, the Sacred Water's poisonous qualities hitting him in the gut. His first instinct was to blow chunks everywhere, yet he was determined to hold it. He fell to his knees, his eyes shut in pain. He slammed his fist against the ground as if to somehow let the pain out with his fist as a conduit! The agony began to subside after a moment, letting the young saiyan to his feet. He looked rather woozy, swaying from side to side as he kept his breathing steady. "I'm guessing that was it." He managed, Korin nodding as he kept his impassive gaze upon the young half saiyan.

Gohan shook his head, "It's no problem Neylo. It's just something that I thought was resolved that no longer seems so permanent." He looked in the direction of Capsule Corporations, unable to see it from this position. He could feel this strange world calling him there and elsewhere, but he resisted it's calls for now. He knew that it was something he had to do but he was afraid at the moment. "Believe it or not, I know what it's like to have everything taken from you in a sudden and violent manner." He could remember Frieza quite clearly, although he wasn't nearly as dangerous as the androids were, those would be his first priority if any of them were encountered.
"Someone named Jeice. I met him once when I was much younger, long ago in the past." Gohan waved his hand, as if to dismiss it as irrelevant. He could imagine what had at the time seemed like a beast of enormous power, yet he had grown far stronger... and then weaker since then. He couldn't imagine that his power level was much higher than it had been when he had fought Recoome. He shook the memories from his head, attempting to focus on the present day. "Hasn't the World Trade Organization been destroyed for some time?" He asked, curious to hear the answer.

Gohan had decided to rest for a day after he had finally made it to the top. His father had mentioned it being extremely difficult as a young boy yet he had never had to climb it with only one arm to help him. The altitude was rather difficult to grow accustomed to as well. He knew from his studies as a younger man that the air grew thinner the farther the distance to the ground. He was already feeling slightly woozy from the journey from the bottom, yet it was no time for dilly-dallying.
The young half saiyan warrior prepared himself, facing down the slightly chubby cat man. Korin's requests for an explanation as to his injuries had been delayed by the request to be trained. Gohan stared down his old friend, or at least what was similar to his old friend. He dashed forward, hoping to surprise the cat with an explosive burst of speed, yet Korin had been at this far longer than the young saiyan. He may not have been as fast as Gohan, yet with his hundreds of years of practice, he could read the faster half saiyan's movements with ease.
Korin's image was the only thing that Gohan managed to capture, the actual cat man kicking off of his back as he laughed. Was the little creature just playing with him? The saiyan stared down the challenge, feeling no anger as he approached again, slowly this time. He began to after image around the area, barely letting his feet touch the ground before he was gone again. "Ready Korin?" He asked in an even voice, no hint of taunting or mockery in it.
The moment Korin nodded, Gohan was there, leaning into a snatch for the staff that held the jug of water. The crafty little cat jerked it away in the nick of time though, keeping the half saiyan's hand off of it. Gohan continued leaning though until he went up on one hand and spun in a circular kick that knocked the staff and jug away from Korin. The warrior flipped himself over on to his feet, his afterimage floating for a moment next to Korin's as they both went for the staff. The cat was there only a moment before Gohan, although the young half saiyan managed to get a hand upon the staff, holding it firmly as Korin attempted to dash away.
"Perhaps the climbing paid off?" Gohan said, a small smile managing to make its way on to his lips. He nodded to Korin, handing the cat back the staff that was nearly always in his hands. Gohan held the jug a small twinge of pride making its way into his heart. "I'll be strong enough." He said to himself, staring at the bottle for a moment. "Mind opening it for me?" He began to laugh, quite the spitting image of his father at that moment.

Gohan glanced down at the arm that ended just below his shoulder. It still felt as if it was there at times but he had grown accustomed to it for the most part. "I suppose that's part of it. Although I was mostly thinking about my father. Some times I wish he was still here." The young saiyan looked down at the ground, wondering if he was still, in this strange world. What would father do in my situation? Gohan could only wonder that question to himself, not ready to open himself up to the possibility that Goku was still alive here.
"You talk in a similar manner to an alien I once met." Gohan spoke, wondering if perhaps this red skinned being came from the same race as Jeice. It wasn't too long of a stretch, seeing the skin and nearly white hair. He took a deep breath, wondering if he might have already revealed to much to this Neylo. "Nice to meet you as well." Gohan remembered when he always had someone to turn to. Piccolo, his father, Krillin, even Vegeta for a small time. All of them had protected him from dangers beyond number, yet he felt as if he was the one that should be doing the protecting now, yet for and from who?

Gohan took a few steps back when a red skinned man bumped into him. "It's fine. I should have been paying attention." He said, his mind still yearning to try to sort out his predicament. He glanced down at the extended hand, quickly shaking it for a moment. He didn't know why the man would do that before he had even introduced himself but it wasn't like it mattered. "I'm fine..." He looked what appeared to be an alien over for a moment. He reminded him of Jeice, although this alien's hair was more of a blonde than a white.
"I'm thinking of the past." Gohan said, he turned to face the stranger, his eyes searching the red man's face. "My name is Gohan." His tone was rather blunt, not very conversational at all, yet he had responded without needing to. The half saiyan glanced around the street for a moment, wondering if this was a chance encounter or perhaps a prearranged meeting. Gohan measured the other man as he waited for a reply, unsure of whether or not this man was a fighter.

Gohan didn't know where else to go from this city. He had been to Capsule Corporation and while Trunks had recognized his face, he hadn't known of his past. He felt like he was alone in this large world. The half breed saiyan didn't want to risk going to where his mother and father had lived, fearing that they wouldn't know either or that Goku would still be dead. So instead of attempting to find people he knew, he walked around the familiar yet different city.
Gohan walked around, his expression impartial to all of the beings around him. It was nearly overwhelming to be in the presence of so many living beings again. He didn't even have to be on constant alert for insane androids that might go on killing sprees... for now. He couldn't even force himself to relax though. In Other World, there was nothing bad that could happen, yet here it felt like there was a bomb around every corner just waiting to go off. Gohan knew he was just being paranoid but it was a hard feeling to overcome. He stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, staring vacantly at the sky.

"How can you not remember? I've seen her slaughter countless people!" Gohan felt at a loss as the only person that had kept him sane when the androids were at the peak of their mayhem, didn't have any clue as to what he was talking about. Gohan didn't understand any of this, but he hoped Trunks would trust him. "I'm stopping you." He growled at Android 18. He knew that she was an evil being and it was up to him to stop her if no one else would understand. His gaze went to the adult Trunks that was standing behind the car of his soon to be opponent. He wanted to tell him to leave, to go somewhere safe, yet it wasn't the same boy that he had needed to protect. Yet... somehow this Trunks seemed less motivated, less of a warrior.
"I have an explanation. You need to be destroyed." Gohan shouted, his index finger pointing at the blonde android. "AHHHHHH!" He let his ki flare as much as it could, the rush of power filling him. His eyes narrowed, deadly intention filling them. He lifted his singular hand over his forehead, aiming it directly at the woman. "Masenko!" He fired a yellow wave of ki, fired directly at what he considered the biggest threat to the planet.

Gohan had snuck into the Gravity Training Room whilst most decent people would be asleep. He needed to grow stronger and he needed to do it quickly. He moved to the panel, his hand moving slowly as he tried to decide how much gravity he wanted. He could remember doing 300x gravity easily before but that was in the past and Gohan was in the present. He growled, putting it to ten times for a moment. He knew that was the amount that had been on Vegeta, yet Raditz had only had a power level of around a thousand and had lived there.
Gohan was looking for a quick way to increase his power, especially since he only had until one of the people in Capsule Corporation found out that he was here. He didn't want to talk to them, not wanting to have to explain about himself or about where he had come from. It was already going to be hard enough to find and destroy the androids without complicating things needlessly. He tapped a few bottoms with his only hand before the gravity nearly slammed him to the ground. Perhaps amplifying the Earth's gravity by forty hadn't been his best idea... yet it was something that he had to do.
Gohan started with some one-handed push ups... His only kind of push ups, honestly. He had become accustomed to them, his right arm quite powerful in comparison to anyone else's arms. It had to be if he wanted to be able to fight on even terms with anyone that had two arms. He pushed himself off of the ground, starting a series of acrobatics flips before landing and beginning to punch and kick as if there was an invisible opponent flitting around. He jumped into the air, performing another round of attacks, sweat beginning to drench him.
Time kept going, as did Gohan. He kept up his rigorous activities, modeling them after the exercises that he had seen Vegeta do before he had been killed. The saiyan prince could be called many things, yet "slacker" was not among them. Gohan glanced at the window, straining to keep himself upright just a little longer. He knew that this was doing wonders for him, yet he had to leave before dawn. Very rarely was the gravity chamber left empty long after sun rise.
Gohan crept out of the chamber three hours later, feeling his muscles tremble as he moved. Had he been a weaker man, the pain of overworked muscles might have made him cry out, yet he was a hardened warrior, Gohan made no sound. He waited until he was out of the Brief's lawn before taking off into the sky, wondering where he could go now.
